Plenty of in-site parking.This two bedroom apartment is one half of a single story, side by side duplex house, with its own front and back entryways and yard and is completely soundproof to the other side. 1,200 sq ft of open, airy space enhanced by tall, vaulted ceilings. Three sliding glass doors bring in lots of fresh air and light. The apartment is actually wheelchair accessible with a huge, walk in/roll-in shower and extra wide doorways throughout. There's a large kitchen, well stocked with stoneware, glassware and cooking essentials like a full set of pots and pans, bakeware, utensils, coffee maker, hot pot, toaster, and blender. Also provided are food staples like coffee, creamer, teas, flour, oil, sugar and lots of spices.Living room holds plenty of people for the big game, movies or favorite shows on the 72 inch Smart TV.Work remotely from the bedroom work station which includes a desk, chair, monitor and HDMI cable.WALKABLES - 15 minute stroll (5 minute bike ride) to Olde Town Arvada, with it's boutique shops, breweries, wine bars, lounges, and great restaurants. Nearby restaurants, shopping, bars, movie theaters, breweries, parks, and coffeeshops.The space:This bright and airy space features a private entrance and completely private unit housing a kitchenette, living room, bathroom, and queen size bed. The kitchenette comes equipped with a fridge with freezer, induction hot plate, air fryer/toaster oven, microwave, pour-over coffee, utensils for all of your meal needs, and large bar dining area with cushioned stools. With plenty of desk/counter space, this could also serve as a work area as the unit has fiber internet with speeds between 500-1000mbps. The living room boasts a large sleeper sofa with matching loveseat, both perfect for lounging and chatting with loved ones. The 55” TV is ready to go with all your favorite complimentary steaming services for movie nights in. Take a luxurious soak in the tub, and sleep soundly in the memory foam bed. While some noise from cars can be heard, the large air filter next to the bed doubles as a noise machine. A mini-split allows you to choose your comfort level for temperature. While we love furry friends, no pets are allowed in this unit.Guest access:Upon arrival, guests may fit up to 2 cars or even an RV in the driveway spaces just outside the unit. While the outside patio is not quite conducive to morning coffee, the scenic Lake Arbor Park is absolutely worth the 5 minute walk. Just two blocks west, the golden sunrises and sunsets against backdrop of mountains cannot be beat.The neighborhood:Lake Arbor Park is a must visit! The long walk around the lake is gorgeous and relaxing. There’s a stellar playground for kiddies, basketball court, and several cantilevered decks over the water with benches for enjoying the view. Sunset and sunrise pictures recommended. It’s a quick 10 minute zip over to Olde Town Arvada for downtown restaurants, bars, and shopping to enjoy, as well as just 20 minutes to Denver, Boulder, Golden, or Red Rocks. Hosts are happy to give further recommendations upon inquiry!Other details:The closest grocery store, King Soopers, is quite large and just a 2 minute walk! Sakana Sushi & Ramen and Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters are two of our close-by favorites. Also, smoking of any kind inside the unit is absolutely prohibited as we have a strict no-smoking policy with enforced fee. The house includes 2 other units in addition to yours. While the walls are well-insulated, this is an absolutely no-parties house. Please respect your fellow occupants: quiet hours between 9:30pm and 8am. About this space:Welcome to Arvada Colorado! This newly updated and fully furnished 3 bedrooms, private entrance basement unit is ideal for traveling professionals, explorers, and families looking for a chill and cozy stay! Located just minutes from Olde Town Arvada with restaurants, bars, and shopping, as well as quick access to I-70 for weekend getaways to the mountains, or easy access to downtown Denver, the Location is perfect!The space:When arriving, the home has two free street parking spots in front of the house. Please let me know if you require a third spot prior to your stay.To access your private guest suite, you will find your private entrance with a keypad on the right side of the home.You will enter and immediately head down the stairs. Please use the handrail and enjoy the entry art on your way down!The suite is about 1,100 square feet, including: full kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one king, one queen, and one twin), fold down futon in the living space, bathroom with a large shower, washer/dryer, living space with Roku guest TV, dining area, and dedicated workspace.We have tried to outfit the space with everything you could need! We also have a QR code at the bottom of the stairs with a link to our guidebook with some of our favorite spots in the area, as well as a guide to the unit.The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, full-sized range microwave, toaster, and coffee bar. You will have everything you need to make whatever meal you want!Please keep in mind that the unit is on the bottom floor of a 2-level home. We have taken measures to make the noise transfer minimal, but you may occasionally hear footsteps or noise. We also keep quiet hours from 10pm-6am to be respectful of our neighbors and the other residents of the property.The HEATING system is shared between the two units and the temperature control will be controlled by the upstairs unit. We have ensured that the thermostat will stay between 68 and 72 degrees, during the colder seasons. PLEASE NOTE, there is no AC in this unit, but the basement unit is well insulated, however, if you are uncomfortable even with these measures, we are able to adjust further to be closer to your liking. We want you to have a 5-star stay!Guest access:You will have full access to your private unit via keypad entry including all the spaces listed above! You will have access to a semiprivate patio, and shared access to the backyard.Our home is a 3-minute drive to Olde Town Arvada. This gem is a charming spot with restaurants, bars and breweries, shopping, and more. We highly recommend checking it our during your stay - we have some specific recommendations in our guest book, and there is a lot to explore! This is also the nearest location for the Light Rail.While there are some restaurants and pharmacies in walking distance, the overall location is pretty car dependent. To get around, we would recommend driving or ridesharing. There is also a bus stop just on the corner, or less than a 2-minute walk!Other things to note:There is a small dog named Hero on the property. He is extremely sweet and good with people, dogs, and kids. Hero can get a bit spooked by new people, if his owner isn’t around, but is completely harmless and will warm up quickly. Especially if you have a ball to through!You may find him roaming around his favorite place - the backyard. Please be sure to close the gate when you come and leave. If you're looking for a spot close to the mountains, close to the big city, and with that quaint small-town Americana feel, Arvada is the place for you. This 450sqft carriage house (with an additional 150sqft usable upstairs) has a private entrance with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, private yard, and outdoor seating area.Only one mile from Olde Town Arvada, you can browse the shops, grab a bite to eat or a drink, or catch the light rail with service to downtown Denver and the airport. Near I-70 for easy access to the mountains for hiking and skiing. One block from Ralston Central Park which features a paved path along the creek—plenty of on-street parking. There is also a futon upstairs in the loft. There is a dog on the premises. He's friendly and will stay on his side of the fence, but he will bark upon arrival. Guests will have their private entrance adjacent to the garage.
