Beautiful, instagramable hotel with amazing sunsets every evening. Rooms are well-sized and beds are comfortable. Nice relaxing atmosphere by the pool with the best sun beds I have ever sat on! No problems finding sun beds but we are early birds. The singers in the evening are very good and nice that it is all quiet by 11. The coctail list available on all inclusive is extensive. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful and friendly, catering to your needs the best they can shout out to Jiovany for exceptional service always with a smile. However, women reception staff can be a bit abrasive. The main big problem with this hotel is simply the lack of staff. Having one or two people serving on the pool bar all day is not sufficient to cope with the volume of orders. Although they work very hard they can’t keep up with the number of people leading to huge queues for drinks. Also to be noted staff clearly have designated roles which tends to backfire e.g. chopping fruit instead of serving when the line is 10 people long. There are many glass collectors around the pool but still somehow run out of plastic glasses. Also to note the house keeping could do with some improvements and giving the room a quick clean especially areas that get used every day e.g. the sink. Overall, a positive experience but more staff need to be hired.

Just got back from a stay at STELLA BLUE SEASIDE and had a really lovely time overall. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed. Modern, stylish, and super clean. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor and layout. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing with good water pressure! Also the terrace was very spacious. The pools are amazing, clean area with plenty of space to swim or chill. The sun loungers are super comfy, but you need to wake up quite early to "reserve" a sun bed, especially if you want an "island". Sadly, some people put down towels on the sun beds without ever showing up... Pity, the hotel should really have a policy for that and take those towels away so others can enjoy. The staff were lovely, always smiling, friendly, and happy to help. The food had a good variety and everything we tried was tasty. Also, the cocktails were really nice. Only downside was the long queues at the pool bar. At busy times it took a while to get a drink, which was a bit frustrating when all you want is to relax. The staff really does its best but I feel like a couple more bartenders can easily resolve this issue. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Stella Blue and we can recommend it to others! With some slight adjustments, this hotel could really become perfect!

We stayed for a week in June and overall it was an average stay. It is a beautiful hotel, the sun beds are really comfy and the cocktails are good however the hotel really needs to work on service as generally it is not good. All the staff clearly have their given roles and will not deviate from it which makes it very difficult as a customer, and is particularly frustrating in the buffet as it often took ages for anyone to come and take a drink order. Some of the staff are particularly rude too, eg the blonde woman in the lobby bar during the day, and one of the glass collectors by the main pool (the one that doesn’t seem to wear a name badge). You can’t get bottled water during the day either, they would only give you a small cup of it, initially they wouldn’t even fill up our bottle due to ‘hygiene reasons’ but they started to at the pool bar later on which helped but relied on us taking the bottle from our room. We had to buy several bottles from the shop and we saw many others doing the same which is crazy for an All Inclusive resort but we had no option! The food variety isn’t great in the buffet in the evenings, but the snack bar is open now which is nice for lunch. The A La Carte is nice but again the service wasn’t great as we sat for ages waiting for a drink top up and they forgot our deserts. There is also no ice cream available, people were buying some from the shop. The entertainment is quite poor (with the exception of the piano/singer one eve), and there aren’t enough seats at the Ble bar where the entertainment is and the bar queue is huge too. The housekeeping service is also poor, our room was not cleaned properly during our stay and the tea/coffee/water was never refilled we had to keep asking at reception. You can’t get bottled water during the day either, they would only give you a small cup of it, initially they wouldn’t even fill up our bottle due to ‘hygiene reasons’ but they started to at the pool bar later on which helped but relied on us taking the bottle from our room. Overall I think the hotel has a lot to work on and whilst I appreciate its new, it’s important they take note of the feedback.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. There is a room tax, we paid £62.00. They requested a credit card - details are left with them. Room was beautiful & had a bottle of wine awaiting with food as it was a very late arrival. Food was good, made fresh and lots of variety and healthy salads - there was no snack bar however aware one has opened today. Staff are so unbelievably friendly and can’t do enough to help. Entertainment is not great, and not enough table and seats for people to watch whatever entertainment is on. The all inclusive bar finishes at 11pm after that you have to pay. Mini bar and teas and coffee in the room is not refilled if used. If you want a certain brand of drink or beer/ cocktail if it doesn’t have a black dot ⚫️ on the menu it’s not included in the all inclusive so again you have to pay! If you want room service you have to pay! If you want to keep your room on it’s €105. However there is significant wash facilities in the communal washrooms below reception. If you want a taxi to Heraklion it’s €45 there and €45 back approx 30 min drive each way. The ocean restaurant the food was beautiful however was left for 25 mins awaiting for a drinks order - as again not enough staff Hotel definitely requires more staff specially at rush hour in the food hall My biggest issue/concern absolutely beautiful hotel however there is not enough sun beds for everyone - you need to get up around 6am to get a bed as normally all gone by 7pm then it becomes sun beds wars with people removing other people’s towels and using the beds. This is not enjoyable on your holiday.

Beautiful hotel very instagramable - however the drinks of the alcohol are very weak, entertainment is terrible and could improve. The staff are great but need more staff, the food is lovely. Fighting everyday for sunbed is no fun and was disappointed that the tea and coffee and water was not replenished everyday in the room. Overall good stay would I come back or reccomend no.

The hotel itself is lovely looking, the aesthetic is gorgeous and the sunsets are amazing everyday. The pool area is clean and looks nice. There is a good range of cocktail selections. The breakfast was amazing ranging from crepes to full english and also had a selection of cereals and granola, both were very tasty. The staff are friendly and nice. The A la carte restaurant was lovely with a gorgeous view. The food was good, I would recommend trying the lobster ravioli or the steak. There are a couple of downfalls though. People reserve sunbeds early and they are all taken. People also just leave their towels there and not use them and it’s unfair for other guests. Another noticeable thing was the lack of staff at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It would take ages for tables to be cleaned and most of the time we would’ve finished most of our food before the drinks came. The hotel should definitely hire more staff. Another thing to note was that the lines to get a drink would build up quite a bit and would take a while to be served. The bartenders do work hard so they are not to blame just seems they have a lack of staff, but as it’s a new hotel I will take that with a pinch of salt. Additionally, the pool snack bar has not been built just yet so if you wanted a little nibble throughout the day there was no much available. However, they did put out some biscuits on the bar counter. Another thing we noticed was that our room wasn’t kept very clean and water wasn’t stocked in the fridges.
