Very well-located hotel, which allowed us to fully enjoy Arcachon in ideal conditions. Formerly classified 4*, it is currently 3* but would threaten to lose another one without carrying out some more in-depth renovation work! The refreshment of the rooms was light (note for the design of the original sink!) and that of the common areas non-existent. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, but be careful, the supply of the buffet depends largely on the teams present. Speaking of the staff, I found notable differences in the reception also in terms of friendliness, and I am still surprised to have to pay for breakfast upon arrival when the room had already been fully paid for and we could have had other drinks during our stay to pay at check-out. Stingy considering a room billed at 250 Euros! That said, and to end on a positive note, the living room, the balcony and the terrace with swimming pool remain a must in summer in Arcachon!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was not a bad base in Archachon, an easy walk into town and to the ferry terminal. We opted and paid for the continental breakfast which was pretty basic, just coffee, juice and 2 pieces of bread (or 2 croissants). The hotel is starting to show its age but still has a level of charm.

The placement of this hotel and the pool make it a true gem in Arcachon. We were overwhelmed by our beach views and the pool was a joy. It is very uncommon in Arcachon for hotels to have a pool. The staff is another positive feature for this hotel. They are always willing to help, provide directions and recommendations about town. The lobby is well appointed. The breakfast served in the morning was varied, as to attract most palates. The rooms was cleaned and nicely decorated. The only reason I did not give a five rating was for the following; you had to provide your own towels at the pool or take them from the room(thusly you had no towels for showering), there was no refrigerator in the room, the bar was closed during our stay in August(all drinks had to be ordered from the front desk) and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. We did enjoy our stay and recommend the Arc with full knowledge of the few amenities missing at this price point.

I contacted your hotel on the 3rd Sept Day 5 and again this morning the 4th September Day 4. When I contacted on the 3rd the person I spoke with had poor English and when I spoke today I was told to email. I have been trying to cancel my reservation due to being very unwell and I have had very little help. I was even hung up on my a male staff member being told he was too busy. When I phoned today Anna told me I couldn’t get a refund but they would change the dates but the terms and conditions allow refund. See below Tarifs Publics : Annulation sans frais à J-5 avant le jour d'arrivée, de J-4 à J-0 (jour d'arrivée) la première nuit sera prélevée. No show, la totalité du séjour sera prélevée. Public Rates: Free cancellation on D-5 before the day of arrival, from D-4 to D-O (day of arrival) the first night will be charged. No show, the entire stay will be charged. I have messaged, emailed and rang and I still haven’t heard back and this is a last resort. Please could someone look into the above.

This is a modest hotel with a lot of pluses. The hotel offers free parking and a swimming pool, is on the beach and well-located towards the centre. The sea view from the bedroom is wonderful, the air conditioning is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the smell of the croissants every morning. Breakfast was adequate. There were several families with small children. A good family hotel.

First time we have stayed in this hotel and it was all excellent! Staff were all lovely and really helped us when we had to deal with car problems during our stay. Hotel is a great location, a little old fashioned but this totally adds to its charm. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare in Arcachon so free parking at hotel is a real bonus. Great pool and the beach right outside, sadly all a bit rainy and cold during our visit but would be perfect with better weather. Mercixx

Great location on the beach ,Hotel clean the staff are absolutely Brilliant . The reception staff can't do enough for you providing all information on arrival, breakfast was quite adequate providing fresh breads and pastries.

Séjours de 2 nuits hors saison et vacances scolaires. Petit hôtel confortable et très calme, balcon avec vue mer et accès direct à la plage, à 10/15min à pied du centre. Literie confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux. Personnels très sympathique. Le parking de l’hôtel est gratuit.
