For us this is the perfect hotel - Location 5* HBA is right on the beach front with access to a cycle / walking path that takes you along the lake side (either way) past restaurants, bars, and water spots facilities. The beach is small pebbles and the lake water is so clear. Torbole and Riva Del Garda are beautiful with lovely little shops and great eating places. HBA 5* - good sized rooms with ample storage, nicely decorated and very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable with fresh white sheets and a pillow menu. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant area has the option to dine indoors or outside and the breakfasts are delicious with so much choice. The gardens are beautiful and if you didn’t want to go to the beach there are ample sun-beds doted around, and a jacuzzi and sauna. Parking although outdoors is secure with ample spaces and if you bring a bike here there is a locked bike store with a bike wash and maintenance area. .

We went in may, so there were not that many other tourists, so that might have affected our experience. But we found the hotel to be very nice, calm, and cosy. Room and other hotel areas were simply decorated, almost scandinavian simple, but they were clean and nice. The hotel has its own beach bed area with Sauna and Jacuzzi, and the sauna is very good (as a Finn I know a thing or two about saunas). Lake garda beach is right next to the hotel, and the views of the lake are gorgeous, and available right from the Restaurant, bar, and most rooms. Breakfast is very good, has a lot of options (like staff made omelets, different croissants with fillings etc) - we didnt try the restaurant for lunch/dinner, so we dont know about that. Two different small towns are nearby, and the hotel has bikes available for free so going to town is easy. Staff was nice and spoke good english. They provided good tips for nearby restaurants and offered to book us tables too. Extra bonus for having luggage scale for loan.

ROOMS: there are different type of rooms, we’ve chosen Baia room with a lake view. And it was perfect! Room wasn’t very spacious, but it was equipped with a fridge, safe, wardrobe. There is a good balcony in every room. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom with a shower, they also provide you all necessities and flip-flops. LOCATION: direct access to the lake, Lidl supermarket is next to the Hotel FOOD: Hotel’s restaurant works for breakfast and lunch. A breakfast buffet (8-10am) is included. Very good breakfast with a big variety of food: there are couple of eggs options (omelette or boiled), meat and cheese, veggies, fruits and berries, bread, yogurts etc. FACILITIES: good wi-fi, sauna and jacuzzi, sunbathing zone with a lake view, bikes, parking zone STAFF: friendly and polite

We booked the hotel through an agency in our country of origin. Unfortunately, we did not personally researched it. It was well located, a few steps from the beach, and a two minute walk to the funicular. If you are looking for newer, modern, and wider accommodations, this place might not be for you. We had trouble with the AC, and the accommodations were run down. The staff wasn’t rude, but perhaps not the friendliest.

Stopped for a cappuccino on our walk from Torbole to Riva last week. This hotel has a fabulous location looking onto Lake Garda . The public area's are really modern and spotlessly clean. The woman who served us was wonderful, so friendly and helpful, unfortunately I don't know her name. Such a lovely experience we stopped off there again the following day.

Beautiful hotel on the northern edge of Garda. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful from receptionists, to the bar staff and the catering and cleaning staff. Anything we asked was met with a smile and a helpful response. The free laundry service was a blessing for someone who is terrible at packing! On top of that the bikes were free to use which was really handy as although the historic centre of riva del gard is about 2 miles it can be quite a walk there and back particularly if you go a couple of times a day. We also used them to cycle to Arco and a few other areas. The view from the 3rd floor was superb particularly from the hottub where a few hours were spent watching the activity out on the lake. There is plenty to do nearby but I'd recommend : Climbing up to the Saint Barbara Chapel of you're fit enough Having evening cocktails in the Fortress over looking riva Cyckong to Arco taking in the views and wandering round the centre Taking the cable car up Mt Baldy on a clear day which was amazing.

We stayed in this hotel for a week. The hotel is located on the lake shore, it has a very well-kept garden as well as the cleanliness of the rooms, I was sorry for some disappointment with the staff. A flaw is the restaurant that is only open a few days a week, services such as breakfast and bike rental are very welcome
