Menorca was the ideal location for a first flight with our son, being a short, non stop flight from the UK. The tour operator wasn’t the best but the hotel and location was superb and was beyond our expectations. The facilities were excellent, children’s pool plus main pool were clean and safe, all inclusive restaurant choices were fresh, varied and tasty. The activities team were enthusiastic, friendly and tried to include all. Unfortunately our son contracted a contagious illness whilst on holiday, meaning we would miss our flight for a further week and had to make direct arrangements to remain in situ. Oscar and his team were so understanding, put measures in place to make our remaining stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beach nearby was busy but was close with lifeguards in place and was well managed. The hotel and the staff made the holiday one to remember and we would return without hesitation.

Absolutely loved it here. Totally chilled out holiday exactly what we wanted. Lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Really well equipped TV, air-conditioning, safe, full kitchen and a first class bathroom. Nothing to want for. Restaurant and bar plus evening entertainment if you want want it. We eat out every night so can't comment on the food here. More than plenty of sunbeds around the vast pool and jacuzzi spar pool. A short walk to three well stocked supermarkets very close by the furthest on I liked the best. Also adjoyning it a cracking bar/tapas/restaurant superb. The main part is a twenty minute enjoyable stroll to the harbour plenty there for everyone. So all in all I give this place a healthy 10/10 as we loved our stay here. 😎👍👏👏

Clean hotel with friendly helpful staff (mainly) the location is ok with a little port and some shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Including a pharmacy and supermarket. The beach was just under a 10 minutes walk (with a 4 and 7 year old) and although was busy it was clean. To hire a sun lounger/umbrella we were told €20 so didn't bother! The sea was oddly FULL of wood chips and seaweed the day we went which you had to Wade through and ended up eating or being sonthered in but I guess not much you can do about nature. Not much to do for kids outside the hotel itself within walking distance. Pools were lovely and not that busy. You could always find a sun lounger at one of them though with no apparent restrictions on reserving them as early as you wanted I suspect that would be different on the school holidays! There is a sports court but its not well maintained and could do with some love. The tennis net is across it the whole time when actually with little to do for older kids, football was what it was being used for so that could be easily changed. (There are goals and basketball hoops) The food was good for a few days and then I think it went downhill with little choice but certainly acceptable. Entertainment team were good and it catered well for smaller kids (under 6) the kids loved the team so thats what matters. The pool with the slides really made the place, great mix for older kids aswell as younger and no horrendous dump buckets of water crushing you from a height with freezing water. Great for toddlers and above. All inclusive ice cream and slushys all day long was a winner, its nice not to have to say no to the children! Overall this was a nice holiday, weather was fine, cleanliness of the room was superb; pools were excellent and a decent beach with sand nearby. If you've booked this I think you'll be OK.

Positives: + Hotel was clean and modern + Staff were friendly + Didn’t struggle at all getting a table in the restaurant + Great location. Opposite shops, lots of restaurants around the harbour and only a short walk to the nearest beach + Although some people still reserved sun loungers in the early hours, we didn’t struggle once to find a sun lounger each day, even when we left the hotel to explore and come back + Food was good. They try and give as much selection as they can given the space. I understand they try and accommodate for everyone in their choices. I can’t say there were really any issues that I was class as “negatives”. As this caters primarily to families there were still a lot of couples like ourselves without children there. The Spa is in the basement but it is only empty rooms as you have to prebook a treatment the day before so I assume they call someone to come in who just hires the room to treat you there. So although it says spa facilities it’s not something you can just visit on the off chance. There is a massive children’s pool with slides for children to play. There is also a massive “family pool” which again always had space around and was filled with all ages of guests. However the “quieter pool” which is up some stairs and is smaller and deeper than the rest still had children in also and I wouldn’t say it was quiet. The only thing I think would make this hotel seem more considerate to those who may want to relax away from games and dance classes in the mail pool is to make the “quiet pool” an adult only one. I understand those who don’t like rules to be implemented on where you can go for a dip but I think having the option of going to the adult pool to relax and have some peace is more than reasonable considering the sizes of the two larger pools. It would feel more to me that couples and those without children are also thought about when it comes to their stay too. But all that be said, I would go back in a heart beat!

I only wish I could stay all summer. A beautiful hotel with amazing facilities, 3 pools, gym, snack bars, large rooms/apartments, well maintained. The best of all is the team that works there. From the reception to the F&B department, to the house keepers to the maintenance team, all amazing. I’d like to highlight from my personal interactions the amazing work by Maria in the front dear, Fran the chef of the buffet, Fran and Alejandro the waiters of the restaurant and Fran the barman of the pool bar. Nevertheless all of the team were fantastic. Well done to the management from putting together such a crack-team of dedicated staff. The food in the restaurant for all 3 meals was superb and varied everyday. The snack and ice creams are a very nice touch. I highly recommend you stay here. It’s close to the port (which has everything you need) and to beautiful beaches.

We stayed for a week mid June in a 2 bed apartment. The room was lovely with plenty of space for us all (2 adults, 2 children). The beds could have been a bit more comfortable but that’s a small niggle We stayed in a ground floor apartment which I would recommend as you are just a few steps to the pool and makes going in and out very easy. Private terrace with a table and chairs and 2 sunloungers. There was always sun beds to be found around the resort and no need to reserve beds. The pools were a big hit with the kids (5 and 6). The splash parks were great! The help yourself ice cream freezers were also amazing, at least 3 dotted around with ‘fake’ magnums, Cornettos, ice lollies etc. We never had to queue for the restaurant as I’ve seen in other reviews but that may be as we went down a bit later, around 8pm. Food was always varied and I’d say something for everyone. Snack bar always had burgers, chips, hot dogs and a selection of salads and fruit. You can also get toasties there. Cocktails were great and if you book direct with the hotel you are able to get all premium spirits and cocktails free too. There was usually some sort of activity going on, like t shirt painting or other games/crafts for children. I wouldn’t recommend for an adults only holiday as this resort is clearly aimed at children. The area is lovely, with a pharmacy and supermarket literally across the road, just behind that a little marina and the beach which was also worth a visit. 5 min walk away is a karting track but beware on their website it states ‘for all ages and abilities’. It’s not. It’s only got very fast go karts so I’d say not really suitable for under 8s but you can ride on with an adult in a double if you don’t mind going fast. Wouldn’t really recommend the nearest town cuitedella, not much going on there when we went. I don’t really have any complaints at all except for on checkout (which is 12pm) I went to take my suitcases down but couldn’t carry all at once so left my beach bag and kindle in the room. 5 mins later (and before 12pm) I went to collect my last remaining things and they had been removed by the cleaners and was a bit tricky to get them back! Not sure why anyone would assume I was leaving them there and to take them away before I’d even checked out seemed bizarre! It would be nice if the pool bar by the kids splash pools also served cocktails not just beer. We travelled with someone who uses a wheelchair and I’d say it’s not ideal for those with reduced mobility as there didn’t seem to be any proper accessible rooms. (No rails in bathroom/seat for the shower etc - she had to bring her own) All in all a great week, weather was mostly kind to us just a few spots of rain here and there.
