The Almira Hotel is a slice of heaven! We fell in love with Arkoudi, the Almira Hotel and her staff 3 years ago. And even though we extended our trip by 2 days this year, it still wasn't enough. What makes the Almira amazing? It starts with the gorgeous infinity pool that seems to melt into the Ionian Sea... where the beach is not complete chaos, but more of an intimate playground. The sapphires, teals, and aquas of the sea beckon you to take a swim. And then of course, the Sea's siren song is irresistible. Waking up to the sounds of the sea from our veranda is perfection. But as extraordinary as the pool, beach and Ionian Sea are, the BEST part of the Almira is the hotel staff. And I do mean everyone on the staff. The kitchen staff makes the most delicious meals. The bar staff creates scrumptious drinkable art. The reception, cleaning and wait staff are all very attentive....constantly checking to make sure your stay is exceptional. In short, they welcome you like family with a level of customer service that cannot be matched. As we drive towards Athens Airport after having a blissful vacation, I can't help but become a bit teary-eyed to be leaving our Almira family behind. With much love, we hope to see you all in Arkoudi, (the place we affectionately call our Garden of Eden) next year!

We visited Arkudi for a nice weekend. We found a beautiful hotel, last minute, and what I would call a hidden gem, Arkudi is a small town in Peloponis the last thing my wife and I expected was to find this hotel, we did not expect the quality and service we recieved, what a beautiful place everyone treated us with love and respect, the staff are kind and very attentive to your needs, the pool the cocktails even the service at the beach was amazing. The icing on the cake was the amazing restaurant, I'm a chef and I've visited many places in Greece most don't cook fresh but everything we ordered was fresh (NOT FROZEN) and I ended up ordered so much food we had to take it home to finish haha! I can't wait to go back. It's a home away from home and somewhere. I definitely recommend to anyone to go to visit. If you want to be surprised go to this place it ticks all the boxes and is worth every single penny. Love and respect to everyone working there and thank you again. ❤️

A place where everything is special. The room, the view, the staff. Located directly on the sandy beach and next to the sea. Clear and clean water Impeccable cleanliness. The pictures in the hotel description show exactly the reality. The staff at the reception extremely kind and competent, willing to help. Upon arrival or departure, the reception staff will arrange transport to the pick-up point. Excellent breakfast, for all tastes. There is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner with good quality dishes and excellent service. Drinks can be served at the pool bar, as well as an excellent expresso. A place where if you've been once, you definitely want to come back.

We only found the Almira by chance on our trip. A somewhat hidden little hotel in a fantastic location on a small bay, and behind the hotel there is a small town with restaurants and a supermarket. Not an overcrowded tourist resort with souvenir shops. About the hotel...we had a family room with two double beds in two rooms. In the back children's room there were wardrobes with four drawers and soft mattresses. In the front room the mattress was harder and there was more storage space. A sideboard with 4 large drawers. There were two TVs (no idea which channel) and the bathroom was also large and clean. From the balcony you had a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. The breakfast was OK, although I missed fruit (melon, oranges, figs etc.) for the yoghurt. There was muesli and cornflakes and all kinds of Greek vegetables, pastries spicy and sweet. The coffee was good, but the two juices in red and orange were pure chemicals and ultra sweet. I found the wifi to be negative. It just wasn't strong in our room and kept cutting out even though we weren't far from reception. This meant that we used up a lot of our data volume without noticing. The pool was clean and attractive and the path to the sea was just a stone's throw away. The hotel had beach loungers, but it was harder to find one at the weekend as there were a lot of locals there. You can also lie down there if you're not a hotel guest and order a drink at the bar. We would choose the hotel again if we wanted to relax for a few days. The bay is small, but you can take a long walk along the beach across the dunes. The hotel is pretty cheap with a flight through TUI. We paid €140 for the family room.

The structure is recent and is equipped with all comforts. The rooms are well laid out. Adequate bathrooms. The rooms with sea view offer terraces large enough for a table and chairs. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Both the staff at reception, at the bar and on the beach always welcome you with a smile. Always attentive and diligent, they are very professional. The medium-sized pool is clean and has a small hydromassage area. All around there are umbrellas, sunbeds and very hospitable lounges. Right in front of the beach which is accessed from the swimming pool. The breakfast is excellent. The kitchen is organized to also offer lunch and dinner. The overall scenery overlooking the beach, sea and Zakynthos island in front is wonderful. The beach is surrounded by various venues that are also open in the evening to spend an after-dinner meal admiring the dream landscape.

Great hotel right on the great beach. Until June 17th, our departure, very quiet. Breakfast ok, restaurant good. We will be back. Our room, seaside, was adequate, the room service was good. The hotel, about 20 rooms, is manageable and informal. Not a 5 star bunker. That's what makes it so charming.

It is a well-kept small hotel in a fantastic location with a great breakfast. In terms of friendliness and willingness to help, the staff is without exception exemplary! In the evening, the terrace invites you to a cultivated meal before a sundowner. If you want to enjoy a week of peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Whether that's the same for the rest of the season, I can't say...
