We visited in June 2023 between touring some battlefields and getting on a plane back to Toronto via CDG. We had really just the night, and were leaving very early. When the host learned we had such a short time, she went to the grocery store and stocked us up for breakfast for an early departure. The rooms were great, the location was a great walk to the giant square in town. Which is amazing. Don't miss 'Place des Héros'. We were thinking we would just fall down asleep and get up at 5am. Glad we saw the square, alive at night. So at 0500 we head out, and my 14yo son leaves his wallet with like EUR 200 in it. We text the proprietor from our car. Could you keep the money, just credit our card maybe? She says, well... My banker is going to be in Toronto in a few weeks - I will just get her to take it to you. So - like a spy movie or somthing - I meet a lovely French family, at the base of CN tower, one of whom hands me my son's wallet. We had a nice little chat, me trying hard in my broken french. I did a review somewhere else. I was searching for this today because someone I know wanted a recommendation for Arras. I recommend this place.

Chambre dans un belle demeure familiale, dans le centre d’Arras. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Petit déjeuner excellent. Accueil chaleureux. Emplacement de parking dans la cour mais accessible par une voie très étroite que pour ma part je n’ai pas osé emprunter (stationnement payant en journée aux alentours)
