Great place to stay, not too far from the highway! Friendly staff were welcoming & smiling. Easy to follow explanation of how things worked & basic run down of rules! Small area to navigate, especially to walk around! All features & amenities are great , wit h all essential amenities provided , that you may require when staying away on a holiday!

We stayed in the Palm villa closest to the reception, pool etc. The villa was clean except the lounge smelt musty from wet swimmers I presume. There were a few maintenance issues which were attended to. The park itself is lovely and close to the beach (not patrolled but good for walks etc). The wi fi and internet are useless. The pool area is great and water park great for kids. However the lounges all needed cleaning. We had a great time except for the nightly outdoor movie (2 movies one night) which was so loud we couldn’t sit on our verandah. The same problem with yoga that went from 8 am until we complained at lunchtime cause we were over it and nobody was attending. We would definitely stay again but much further away from the main area

Despite being on an adventure with my son all around Australia, I rarely write a review. However, I had to make an exception for the team at Darlington. Whilst the facilities, grounds and activities on offer are all first class, it is the customer service that sets Darlington apart from every place I’ve ever visited in the last 50 years. Every interaction with the staff was exceptional - words like, ‘friendly’’, ‘thorough’ and ‘expert’ just do not do the team justice as they went above and beyond to make my son and I feel welcome. We extended our stay from two to eight nights and my son even asked if we could forego the rest of our adventure to stay here! Given our stay coincided with the arrival of Cyclone Alfred, the staff really demonstrated that during times of adversity, true leadership and quality of character stand up. While not wanting to diminish the efforts of all, a special thanks must go to Jasmine, Jeremy, Josie and the ladies at reception for being the very epitome of all of the above. A final thanks to Nick, whose inspiring leadership at Darlington is obvious for all to see and a significant reason the resort has such a great culture. He even makes a great coffee at 4am! All genuine people that have gone a great way to restoring my faith in humanity. Thanks Team Darlo Jason and Xavier

We paid for a night here as our stop over from our family road trip to have a rest honestly don't know why I bothered had football players keep me up running around the bowling green till 11 then they proceeded to run around the cabins they woke my 5yo twins up 3x and didn't seem like anyone cared to stop them :(. The facilities themselves were good and the kids had fun on them except jumping pillow and pump track were out of action. The rooms were pretty good other than the main bed being extremely lumpy and having mould on the blinds.

NOT SAFE. We stayed 4 nights on a powered van site in November. We were placed on a site under gum trees and during the wind, a branch fell thru the awning roof. Fortunately, no one was injured. I made a claim to have the awning repaired but was informed by email that "Nrma Parks is not able to accept liability for loss or damage". Surely if they are going to place people in a dangerous position, they should accept responsibility, and use their insurance. I know a number of people that won't Camp there because of the danger from the gum trees above. Poor show NRMA.

We stayed 3 nights in a Spa Villa Unit and had a great time with all the wildlife living around us. There were water dragons, kangaroos, terrapins in our lagoon, a large monitor lizard, heaps of kangaroos and bird life. The cabin was clean, spacious and well set out. Reception staff were welcoming and other Park staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities, included two pools, one with 2 water slides and there is an on-site restaurant which is great.

How lucky we are to be at a beautiful caravan park like this one. Lovely large grassed sites. In particular we loved the artificial grass that was under the awning area. Fairly new modern amenities and although we didn't use the pool area, we heard lots of folk enjoying themselves. Husband had a quick round of golf and said it is basic but he enjoyed the company of a local. Lots of activities on offer for families. Kangaroos roam but beware of a friendly goanna!!!
