Sunrise Cabanas

We had an incredible stay at Sunrice Cabanas! The cabanas are beautifully designed, offering stunning ocean views and ultimate comfort. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The beach is gorgeous, perfect for both relaxation and adventure. Dining at the beachfront restaurant was a highlight, with fresh, delicious meals and a perfect setting. If you're looking for a luxurious and serene escape, Sunrice Cabanas is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Friendly service all around with value-for-money accommodations. They have the best-shared workspace in Arugambay with space and Wi-fi. It is highly recommended for a long stay with work, leisure, and the beach which has access from in front of the hotel.

We went in Sunrise Cabana just for working. We were desperately looking for a coworking space in Arugam Bay and this is the right place! Good Wi-Fi, AC, silence and the manager Naseem is really welcoming anche the best! Super recommended, prices were also super good!

I slept at this hotel one night. The location is excellent, just 2 min walk from the beach, and 5 min from the main point. The staff was very nice and helped me with everything I needed. The room was well equipped and they were waiting for me with bottles of water. Recommend to those looking for a quiet place in Sri Lanka.

I came to Arugam Bay for my last week of my holiday and wanted to book a room at Sunrise as it looked like a nice place near the beach. Everyone in Sri Lanka had been super friendly and nice until I came across this guy with lots of tattoos claiming he is the manager of the sunrise hotel. Once he found out that I was solo travelling, he suddenly said that he can let me stay there for a whole week for free... but only if I let him sleep with me!! He was flirting with me the whole time and kept offering and persisting that I can get everything for free even when I declined and told him definitely not! I was horrified and appalled that he could just say something like that and continue acting like this especially when he says he is the manager. It was unprofessional and inappropriate. After experiencing this, it really ruined my trip and I'm very upset about this. I ended up staying at long hostel instead where the staff were so much better.

Sunrise Cabana was a new place for me to stay. This is primarily explained by the diversity that exists there. The cabanas offer a pleasant getaway from the everyday commotion because they are tucked away in a serene environment. The staff went further than expected to assure my comfort and was incredibly friendly. Due to its proximity to the coast, it was simpler to stay here when participating in water sports. Furthermore, it was a unique experience to spend the evening in the bar.
