Masailand Safari Lodge

We were there in July 2024 and we had room ZS1. When we arrived the hotel seemed extraordinary. The lobby is large and exudes luxury. Check-in was smooth and it was only afterwards that we were disappointed. As for the room, at first glance the room is very beautiful. But when you look more closely you realize that unfortunately it seems that the maintenance has not been done for a long time. We saw holes in the walls, broken faucets, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, etc. The bed was very uncomfortable (too soft). The television is a joke with three snowy stations that are impossible to listen to. In short, it is only beautiful in appearance. There is a swimming pool at the hotel but the water was stagnant and very dirty so it was impossible to swim in it. There were empty fountains in disrepair. It seems like this hotel used to be a really great place but is now pretty much abandoned. In fact there were four of us in our group and we didn't meet anyone else during our stay. The restaurant has a limited menu but at least it was good. Finally the worst part is the wifi. We were given a code when we checked in to use the wifi but we had to go back to the lobby about ten times in less than 24 hours because the code we had stopped working and we couldn't get a new code by calling the lobby. And even when it did work it was slow and spotty. In summary, it was most certainly a nice place in the past but now it is a place to avoid at all costs.

Great location, lovely food, superb staff and the rooms and beds are very comfortable. The location is lovely and secluded, the staff were so nice and attentive, tending to all or needs. Sunsets here were fab too down by the pool, with a beer.

Very nice place, huge rooms and very kind staff. Special thank to Damas who was super nice with us. Stayed one night before our safari trip , we were pleased to rest there after our journey from Geneva. Nice pool and sunset with the Kilimanjaro beer.

best place ever the staff are amazing the place is very nice and comfort with amazing pool i had a good rest the place is quite the jaccuziii is very amazing i lived my stay every bit i would recommend and i would go back for sure best lodge in arusha

The place when you enter gives you this peaceful feeling due to its surrounding! Full of nature. We got a leopard double rooms and they are so specious, modern and very clean! They clean everyday! We enjoyed our stay here very very much. The service is 10/10. We will definitely come back again here.
