Findon Rest Ltd

Upon arrival the accommodation looked comfy and cozy however when we settled we discovered that everything electrical was run from extension leads plugged into extension leads. The bathroom was tatty at best with a random screw in the wall at eye level beside the toilet. The shower fitting was disgusting. The TV did not work (you could only get ITV 1) also unable to operate the hairdryer. There was information on how to contact the management however when you've travelled over 6 hours and arrive after 9pm you would hope that the basic amenities were working.

Booked as we were visiting family in the area, and was told it was cheap and cheerful. It was definitely cheap and definitely not cheerful. Damp, very small, with a horrible dirty shower room and toilet. Hairdryer broken, ridiculous heating control with just a hole to press a button to try to heat a little bit more through a filthy radiator. The bed looked clean, but didn't dare look at the mattress. Just went to sleep and didn't touch anything more than needed as there was so much grime and dust. Will never go back. Pay a little more, and stay somewhere decent.

If you need a place to stay over in Findon and, like us, find other places are booked up, then this will do. It's just a little average. Our room, not sure about the one our kids had, but our room just smelt of damp, like seriously smelt of damp. The wood under the door was rotting, so i'm guessing they have a damp issue? The decor in the rooms we had needs serious updating and decorating. But if you need to stay over in Findon, it'll do. Not awful, not great either.

These are fantastic rooms,Everything you could possibly need to have for a few days break. We had all the rooms as a family and all of them were clean,airy and perfect for us all.we had one family with two children their room was perfect,one room with couple and a baby ,they all fitted perfect and my elderly mother and other daughter was in a room and everything in their room catered for them ..Our room was a lovely room also .we could not hear our own children in other rooms . Lucy the owner was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

This was perfect for a two night stop over. We had everything we needed in a clean, warm, comfortable room. The area is quiet. There is a cafe nearby. We found it to be ideal and will book again in the future.

I wish I could give them negative stars. My room was given to someone else without my knowledge. I reach the room at 11:48 pm after a eventful and tiring day at work and needed to just rest but these guys had other plan to ruin my night. Had to book an alternate hotel at a very expensive price which I was lucky to find or else I would be sleeping in my car. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I have demanded a full refund as a minimum and will wait for it. I don’t want any explanations. You guys just ruined my weekend.
