TRAVELODGE ARUNDEL FONTWELL PARK

I stayed here a few weeks ago over the weekend I left a review but it for some reason didn’t get published and seems to of vanished? My stay here was very enjoyable I found hotel room extremely clean and the staff very friendly when we checked in, throughout our stay and when checking out. Pub opposite hotel serves great food and highly recommend visit to arundel castle close by.

Location is perfect for the racecourse, about 50 yards or so from the entrance. A nice, friendly, greeting on arrival and quick allocation of my room, which was large, airy and smelt super fresh. Lovely comfy bed and slept like a log. I was on the main road side and experienced no traffic noise. A quiet hotel with ample parking even though it was race day. KFC and petrol station with Waitrose Express just off the island close by. Would definitely stay here again. Well done to all at the hotel.

It was an occasion fitting to a wedding at fontwell race course and mèeting relatives and friends and access to local area

Stayed here for my sister's weddings. Staff were friendly and polite, check in was easy with efficiency. Our room smelt fresh with clean fresh bedding. This was a great location to be close to Fontwell racecourse. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast in the Old stables pub nearby. Definitely recommend.

This travelodge is one of the hotels, in the area that I stay in, when attending Fontwell Races. I have enjoyed staying here on a few occasions, in the past, due to it's excellent raceday location. This though was different, as for the first time my room was on the busy A29 side , as opposed to the carpark/racecourse side. Check-in was easy,quick and welcoming,the three staff I encountered during my short stay were all friendly. Following a day at the races and food/drink in The Old Stables, next door, I retired to my room. Standard room for this chain, though it was a little tired, clean enough, decent shower and a nice comfy bed. Unfortunately I didn't get a good night's sleep due to traffic noise and headlights, shining through the curtains, no matter how many times I got out of bed to adjust them. I personally think that the windows need a upgrade and sound proofing. As I was only staying the one night, I left early for my journey back to the West Country.

Visiting family over the weekend and this hotel was so convenient for me and was Great value for money even at the weekend! The staff were nice and helpful. Hotel was very clean lovely coffee and extra at reception when needed. Will be back again soon!
