Clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast daily and the people are super friendly. Definitely will stay here again. I was alone and felt very safe. Also the place was very peaceful and quiet and I slept very well. Adequate bathroom and nice patio added to my wonderful experience

I was here for a month as a volunteer. The hostel is an oasis in a busy city. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The provided meals are good and include local fruit and vegetables. Most are vegetarian. There is cheap transportation to local stores. The Rooftop Bar is a chill place for a drink or a game of darts.or pool.

I've been here for two weeks and there's nothing bad to say. It's been such a lovely experience. The place is amazing and the stuff are always helping you. I recommend staying here if you come to Tanzania. You have a pool if you want to swim, a kitchen if you want to cook and a spa.

I've spent more than 2 weeks at Villa Viva, everything was perfect! Everyone is welcoming and very nice, breakfast and dinner are good and the villa is a perfect place to enjoy (bar, pool table...), relax (swimming pool, gym...) and prepare different excursions. I recommend it and I definitely want to come back.

Super nice and clean accommodation. Pool area, the roof top terrace, breakfast, free parking and the location are perfect. Also they have a nice weekly programme from yoga to different workshops and movie nights. Free use of the kitchenAffordable prices!

Very nice hostel with friendly staff and guests. They provided a luggage storage for me, that was quite helpful. I stood there for one night, left for one night for a hiking trip and returned for another two nights. Good kitchen. I would definitely stay in Villa Viva again. It's better to book directly via the hostel website.

We stayed in Tanzania for a week and a half, doing a 5 day safari but spending the rest of the time based at Villa Viva. We absolutely loved this hostel and felt really spoiled by the amenities provided for the value. It had a rooftop bar with pool table, a well-maintained pool, some very charming cats, and a gym which we actually used. But the basics were met as well with laundry service done quicker than we expected, clean common areas, really nice staff, the option to eat in with tasty home-cooked food, and a nice chill vibe chatting with fellow travellers. It felt like a secure hostel, with active security guards but the Sakina area of Arusha was a nice spot too. We stayed in a double private room, with our own bathroom. Pretty typical to East African standards, we didn't have a ceiling fan or air-con but that was OK. Showers had a shortish amount of hot water, but the room had good wifi and a mozzie net.

Villa Viva is a really nice hostel!! The rooms are big and have their own bathroom, pool area is very pretty to chill and there is also a nice clean kitchen you can cook. I was solo travelling and never felt alone, everyone was very welcoming and kind. The rooftop bar is also great to hang out in the evenings. Enjoyed my time a lot and would recommend to everyone :)
