Booked the hotel later finds out it was smoking room. Request none smoking room. Hotel requested up charge I approved.
Went ahead room is smoking smell we both don’t smoke. It was very unpleasant.

It's a very old hotel, and I saw in the elevator that it seems to be closed in November 24, which is a pity. The room door is opened with an old-fashioned key instead of a room card. The triple room is just a steel bed added in the empty space 😂😂😂 But anyway, the room area is not small in Japanese hotels, there is even an empty space for a dressing room at the door of the toilet. The facilities are old but very clean. To be honest, if it were a domestic hotel, it would be difficult to live in a hotel with such visibly old age, but the Japanese ones were incredibly clean. There was not even a speck of scale in the toilet, which was a very unique feeling. On the one hand, I think this hotel is very shabby and old, but on the other hand, I think it is very clean... The advantage is that the location is very good. It takes less than ten minutes to walk from Asahikawa Station. It is very convenient to go to AEON at the station entrance to buy things. I hope his store is just undergoing renovations and not closed permanently...
