"Actually, many aspects are good. The problem is that some points are too low. For example, the kettle is made of pure plastic, and it feels like it will melt while burning, and the wires are exposed. For example, there is no restaurant for breakfast, and you have to eat in the open space at the front desk. There are many guests, but few tables and chairs. A round table has 3 chairs. In most cases, you have to share a table to eat breakfast. There are only a few tables in total, and you have to queue up. It's really embarrassing. The interior decoration has been transformed into a normal business hotel, but the *silk spirit is still implemented in a few places. It's not worth it."

"The room was quite good, a standard apartment. The bathroom was a bit small. The washing machine shelf was not installed securely. The washing machine almost wandered into the room. There was dust under the washing machine and it was not cleaned. The hotel is in a very good location, close to JR station and close to shopping malls, restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel does not provide an email address, only a phone number and does not understand Chinese or English. Every time something happens, I have to ask Ctrip to make suggestions. It is recommended that Ctrip develop a chat page with the landlord similar to Airbnb."
"We stayed on the first floor.
Bedding:
There was a twin bed and a folding sofa to make a bed for 3 people.
Accommodation condition:
It was clean. The living room was also a separate space with a table/washing machine/cooking utensils/microwave/refrigerator. There was a beam projector in the bedroom, but we didn't use it.
Accessibility:
We rented a car, so there was no problem getting there.
If you walk for about 5 minutes and cross the overpass, you will reach the Asahikawa downtown area.
Parking:
The nearby coin parking lot was about 700 yen for 12 hours. There is no parking lot in the accommodation itself.
Check-in:
There is no lobby, so you have to check-in online in advance. You will receive an email with instructions, so please carefully check the email in Japanese and follow the link to check in. We also needed to capture the passports of all guests.
Overall: Satisfied. If I go to Asahikawa again, I would visit again."

"Since you are traveling by car, you don’t have to be near public transportation. But the location of the hotel is pretty good. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the famous Genghis Khan Barbeque for dinner. When I was driving to leave the next day, I discovered that there was a convenience store on the other side of the corner. ⋯I went to a hotel far away the night before, haha"

Amazing
SSin TeeCentrally located in the city. I was assigned to a square facing room which was nice and bright. The room was equipped with a humidifier. The check-in staff asked if I parked the car at the aeon mall without me asking for parking payment details. Thumbs up!
GGuest UserThis is new clean hotel with a Japanese customer base that is also great for foreigners. The entrance is just out the train station to the right and immediately next to the bus ticket office. A Lawson is close by and a shopping center across the bus plaza. The optional buffet breakfast is reasonable for what is served. In summaey, a convenient overnight before catching the 66 bus to the airport or Asahidake Onsen.
AAlien.yinWe stayed here for a night, it’s near to the Aeon Mall and JR Station. There is a lot public parkings surrounded to the hotel. Room size is very small, room cleanliness is acceptable.
Public bath is available but crowded all the time. Complimentary drinks available in the lobby but always noisy and chaotic like public markets.
The con was the front desks were not friendly and he get mad easily when a lot customers queued up for check in. There is only 2 lifts for 14 floors, everyday full of tourists bus came and very long waiting time for the lift.
Overall, we wouldn't come back here again 😔
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to everything. Breakfast starts around 6:30am with lots of quality food choice. Coin-ops laundry on-site. Just park your car next to the hotel for 800 yen per day. Super easy.
KKong Hiong LimI recently stayed at OMO7 for one night and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel lobby is lovely, featuring a cozy atmosphere with plushies that I think children will particularly enjoy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a free welcome drink, which was a nice touch.
Check-in was efficient and hassle-free, allowing us to quickly settle into our room. Overnight parking is available at a cost of ¥1000, which is quite reasonable.
The breakfast spread was decent, with a variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the seafood bowl with yama wasabi and the hot waffles with smoked salmon. The addition of cracked black pepper to the waffles made them particularly delightful.
Our room was small but decent, with all the necessary amenities. While it was a bit dated, it was comfortable enough for our short stay. In the evening, we took a leisurely 30-minute walk to Heiwa Dori for dinner, which was a nice way to explore the area.
Overall, OMO7 provides a comfortable stay with friendly service and good amenities. It’s a great option for travellers who plan to explore Asahiyama Zoo.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is good but there are 2 car parks. One is at the hotel building one is 2 blocks away. Staff is with language barrier. He asked us to park at the carpark 2 blocks away and we asked if we could park at hotel, he didn’t answer and kept saying we should park farther carpark. We asked reception at hotel and she said there is height restriction at hotel carpark but our car didn’t seem to be over the limit.
GGuest UserAmazing house with a huge amount of space, impeccably clean. The house felt brand new, and it doesn't get more private. I felt like I was in my own universe. My only complaint is that the host company BreakOut threatens to charge you 5,000 yen for every 30 minutes of late checkout after 10:00AM. This is extremely hostile against your guests. Here is the exact wording from the welcome email:
”Leaving the room after check-out time will be considered a late check-out without permission. A fee of 5,000 yen will be charged for every 30 minutes.”
We were also threatened about being liable of the pipes freeze. While this is a vacation rental in the winter, and we understand their concern about liability, you can advise about this without overtly threatening financial penalties. This speaks to the mean spirited nature of BreakOut (the property management company / private equity firm) and for this reason we will never rent from them again. This is a company that viciously attacks anyone for the sake of profit, and they should probably be on Wall Street rather than running a hospitality company. The smart companies get someone nice as the front facing staff. At Tomato Cube there is absolutely no one, nor was there any email address provided for contact. It is just a ghost ship out there. Even the coffee shop and thai restaurant nearby were totally abandoned.
十十一一十The hotel is not too far from Asahikawa Station. There is a busy shopping area next to it, so it is relatively convenient for shopping or eating. I checked in late that day and had to look for it before I saw it.
GGuest UserThe Asahikawa Toyo Hotel is an old school hotel. It is within walking distance of the Asahikawa train station or a short bus ride away. There are many eateries and little grocery stores nearby. We had some delicious food nearby and found the location to be relatively good.
The hotel seems to have seen better days but still maintains a semblance of cleanliness. We didn’t find much to complain about it. Perfectly adequate for a night’s stay.
The average price for hotels in Asahikawa is €126 on weekdays, and €134 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
