Our group of 14 stayed here 4 nights. We loved the location between the two large squares. There were many lovely outdoor restaurants nearby. Walking was very easy but there is also a small tourist train with headsets for touring the town. We did laundry one day - very close to the hotel. During our 4 days there were 2 events in one of the squares, mostly shopping but fun. Everyone at the hotel was lovely and accommodating in every way. Rooms are small but immaculate & beds are comfortable. I loved the "spaceship" like shower. Breakfasts are ordered the night before and you select the time you want it to be available. This is a lovely small hotel in a great location in a charming town.

I was happy to return to Albergo Sant Emidio. The staff and service were excellent. The room was clean, the breakfast plentiful. I was greeted at the train station by a very nice gentleman who was sent by the hotel to pick us up. That was very helpful, as I am not too familiar with the area. I look forward to returning to Ascoli Piceno in the future, and staying at Albergo Sant Emidio again.

Being unfamiliar with Ascoli Piceno, I reached out to Albergo Sant Emidio based on reviews that I read and was immediately contacted by the staff. They were very helpful connecting me with a gentleman who could pick me up at the train, and who arranged excellent walking and driving tours. The hotel is quaint, lovely, and spotless. The rooms are spacious with updated bathroom. The breakfast is well planned with a nice variety of foods. The hotel staff are all warm, welcoming, and very helpful. I look forward to returning to Albergo Sant Emidio with my family.

The hotel is centrally located, but it needs some freshening up. We were greeted by a scruffy person, who debated every time a simple question was asked. For example I asked why my courtesy light in the room did not turn off. She answered that it never happened before. Eventually her night employee realized the card for the electricity was not activated. In the shower there was black mold everywhere. Something that it could have been easily take care with bleach. The shelf in the shower was high. So if you are less than 5feet you cannot reach for your soap/shampoo. Breakfast was a bizarre event. We had to tick off our choices the night before on a sheet of paper , and provide also the time. The items weren't great.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in spite of constant rain and cold weather in Ascoli Piceno. The staff was cordial and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a spacious bath and plenty of closet space. The breakfast lots to be desired. We were asked each night to fill out a sheet by marking our breakfast selections. It was mostly breads or sandwiches. The coffee and cappuccino was consistently cold. The only other complaint is that the beds are hard as concrete. We woke up every morning with sore backs and legs.

I was unable to book because on the phone when booking, in recommending that I receive a comfortable room, they replied that if I had special needs I could choose another hotel. I had made the request introducing myself as a colleague because I also have a hotel. Obviously I have never responded to a customer, even if demanding, if you don't like it go to another hotel. If anything I say that I will do everything possible to make their stay pleasant. Oh well, let's choose another structure! I wanted to write the review because I work hard to be kind to customers and then I meet such unpleasant colleagues!! if it was an initiative of an employee it is right for him to know that if his employer works his job is guaranteed!

We booked this hotel based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately we didn't find anything of what we expected. Very central location and friendly and welcoming staff. Small and dusty room, heating/cooling system didn't work, worn bathroom, unusable hot tub with yellow water and persistent sewage smell. Another sore point was breakfast....we were made to fill out a sheet from the day before indicating times and preferences on what to eat, the buffet, despite the "covid" times being over, is no longer accessible to avoid "food waste", spa closed and unusable (no one had informed us of these details when booking). We do not recommend it and will not return.....
