Lovely hotel booked with Secret escapes DBB package. Warm welcome, large lovely clean room with great products. Evening meal very good. Sam our server was amazing! Breakfast good choice on food. Bar overpriced drinks & charged £6 for a small bowl of crisps which was disappointing. We enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend.

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Booked a Secret Escapes package which included 3 course dinner with a glass of wine, room and breakfast. Absolutely wonderful stay with a couple of complimentary extras courtesy of the hotel which were a lovely surprise. Will definitely be back again!

Spent two nights and three days mostly on site…everything was done to make you feel at home, at ease and relaxed. It snowed a bit, froze every day…the grounds are lovely. The interiors are cozy, warm and well decorated. Staff is excellent and very caring. Breakfast and buffet lunch are perfect. Dinner in the private library was a delight. Service was lovely and discreet. Bedroom was overlooking the parking and there was no noise. Just had to make sure the curtains wouldn’t cut the radiators heat off. Bathroom on the tiny side but all good on my own.

Overall a beautiful hotel, with a cosy library and lovely restaurant. Food was good and we loved the breakfast with fresh hot and cold options. But what really made this place for us was the staff. We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 year old son and were made to feel so welcome. All the staff were so lovely to him which really put us at ease and made our stay really enjoyable, thank you

Spent three nights at The Royal Berkshire with a friend. Could really find no faults for the price. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast and very good evening meal. Without exception, the staff were all professional, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Hotel and grounds were great ,room was really lovely staff tentative but what let everything down for us was the awful awful breakfast one of the worst we have ever had and the dinner of fish and chips was greasy and under cooked .Maybe they should get a new chef .

5.out 5 We stayed on 31st Dec 2024 until 1st Jan 2025 and the place the staff the food was excellent and the location also excellent and lovely room overlooking the huge Garden's would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the Ascot area Steve Scott

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough to go and explore the grounds (which looked lovely). Staff are great, food is tasty, the seating/bar area is so comfortable and drinks menu has a good selection (but a bit pricey). Location was great for us and plenty of parking (obviously we were there out of season). We were lucky enough to have a corner bedroom but rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Suspect we will return in the future and will definitely recommend.
