Ashington Premier Inn delivered exactly what we were looking for. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, A clean and good sized double room, Very comfortable bed ,bedding and functionable furniture. Ability to alter the temperature of the room with touch digital display. Suitable ensuite with good power shower. En suite could have had a shelf to put toileteries on. WiFi was not that good. Good food selection, adequate parking and value for money. I would recommend staying there.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a double room which was clean and the bed was really comfy. I had a Lakeview room which was nice. The shower was powerful and the water very hot. I would recommend this hotel and I will be staying again in the future.

We have been using the hotel for many years for family reunions. The hotel staff are lovely and the rooms are clean (some refurbished) 125 nice room, however overall not enough staff & definitely over worked, not enough of them for rotas (clearly) working until after 10pm and then back on for breakfast duties. The hotel is cold, The food wasnt good (served up cold) Pre orders went to ‘pot’ what we pre ordered they had sold out! Whats the point of a pre-order! The outside is ‘tired’ and unkept! I know its winter but not very appealing anymore. I really feel premier inns are cutting corners and its a shame because we have always enjoyed a stay in Ashington.

Hotel smelt of ****, horrible vibe and hotel felt worn and scruffy. Rooms was very outdated, only a single socket near the bed. Room felt very unclean, shower looked like it had never been cleaned properly. Bedding smelt horrible, pillows were uncomfortable. Booked the room with a view but that means your looking over the car park by the restaurant and you can hear every conversation anyone outside is having. The WiFi is shocking, don’t bother paying £5 a day for the ultimate WiFi, it’s no better!

Friendly staff and nice genuine people and service at the hotel was good. The restaurant and the food was great and friendly staff. Service at the hotel is very good. There is mould issue that is painted over and kept coming as a result of no or poor ventilation. This is something management need to sort out ASAP.

No good wifi signal No cell signal No Prosecco mini at the bar No fish pie No hot dogs No decent craft beer / ipa No fresh decaf coffee at the bar, just instant. And a 1 hour wait for food, even it’s not busy Nobody cleans the floor in restaurant Outside kids area looks permanently out of action 1 Good point. The indoor kids area.

Excellent bed the room was cozy. Nice & easy location I bet it's beautiful around the hotel in summer. There's a lake outside to walk around & plenty of wildlife. The breakfast buffet was the best ever & was good quality food. Definitely a good stay for the price paid & breakfast

The room was clean and a reasonable size. The mattress was comfortable and bedding fine although the pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked, this was only a minor complaint. It was good to be able to open the window as sometimes this is not possible.
