The facilities are old but very good. However, breakfast and dinner are disappointing. Especially, the dessert for dinner is only ice cream. It is not as described in the photo. In addition, one of the sauna facilities was broken and could not be used. This part needs to be adjusted. I will make a formal complaint to Trip.com.

阿蘇駅からは近いとは言え、民家の中にぽつんとあるのでナビでも詳細が出て来ず迷う宿。 建築家のオーナーにあか牛や野菜を育ててどぶろくまで造る女将。子供さんたちが運営と建築の手伝いなど家族で経営している最強一家。 それもさすが建築家らしく古民家を改築して洗練された味わいと要所要所で高級なアメニティや設備が整えられてます。 部屋は全部で4つという贅沢。その全てに五右衛門風呂か岩風呂、露天風呂が付いてます。 夜は囲炉裏で炭火焼き。あか牛と天草大王を堪能できます。 まだ宿の運営には不慣れな店長の一生懸命さが素晴らしすぎて感動します。働き過ぎを心配するほど。 子供の成長とともに毎年行きたくなるステキな宿でした。
