We saw the reviews when we booked, turned up early in our little hire car and were not disappointed. As we were over an hour early we just sat on the terrace gazing in awe. We live between the edge of the cotswolds and the royal forest of Dean, so are spoilt with great scenery on our doorstep, and la terrazza Di subasio didn't come in second. Our room was perfect for us, comfortable and very clean. The jewel in the crown of la terrazza is the host family, Marisa is so welcoming, and her very limited English coupled with my very limited Italian soon got us settled. Fear not as Maria's children are fluent in English and visit you to explain and help with anything. We felt at home straight away. With Maria's fabulous cakes and tarts sublime views, friendly cats we needed little else. It's a great base to discover asissi and the surrounding area. Would recommend and would not be surprised if we returned.

The owners of this bnb are incredibly friendly, the grandmother who checked us in did not speak english which made things a little difficult but we got it figured out (her daughter speaks english but was not present at our time of check in). This is a a side house to a families house with little kids who were cute but certainly running around outside often. This bnb is not walkable from the city center but the family provided the phone number of their son who is a taxi driver and we were able to call for him to pick us up or take us from the bnb whenever needed. Breakfast was light and a additional 3 euro per person per nigh but personally I thought it was worth it to have snacks in the room. Payment at the end of the stay is cash only so be prepared for that in advance. The pool was very nice and had a beautiful view of the country side. House did not have air conditioning so it was warm, and the wifi did not reach into our bedroom so we did work from the outdoor seating in front of the main house. Slightly inconvenient but gave us another excuse to look at the beautiful view. Overall a very positive experience, the family was helpful and accommodating when we locked ourselves out. Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a natural beautiful place to stay in the outer city.

Ambiente accogliente e pulito, in posizione panoramica e tranquilla. Gentilezza e disponibilità della famiglia proprietaria. Posto auto all'interno del cortile privato. Colazione preparata dalla signora Emma con maestria. Consiglio sicuramente.

Sono tornato dopo qualche anno in questa struttura, questa volta usufruendo di una camera matrimoniale superior, riscontrando che lo standard rispettato dall'hotel è sempre ottimo. Le camere sono spaziose, ben curate ed arredate, buona la pulizia generale, anche se sarebbe opportuno non far trovare, al checkin, gli asciugamani sulla coperta del letto, lo trovo poco igienico. Il ristorante è un gran punto di forza dell'hotel, il cibo è veramente buono e ben preparato, c'è molta attenzione alle esigenze dei clienti soprattutto in presenza di intolleranze: al tal proposito mi sento di esprimere una particolare nota di elogio per Sergio, figura storica del ristorante, sempre attento, cortese e disponibile, gran brava persona ed eccellente lavoratore. Unico neo in questa esperienza è legato al check in, la camera ci è stata consegnata con un pò di ritardo rispetto all'orario previsto (14.30), ma questa struttura, ad Assisi, rimane la mia preferita.

Accoglienza ottima è come essere a casa. Stanze ottime e il belvedere stupendo sulla piana. Tutte le stanze sono confortevoli e accoglienti. Le mete di interesse turistiche sono facilmente raggiungibili. In 5 minuti Assisi raggiungibile per una visita partendo dall'alto fino alla basilica inferiore e superiore

Pessima esperienza, abbiamo trovato la tavoletta del bagno con goccia di pipi', colazione per 3 persone misera. Mi è caduto lo spazzolino sotto il mobile del bagno e c'era tanta polvere. Divano della cucina in stoffa totalmente impolverato, ho messo sopra un lenzuolo per la bimba e il gatto della signora è entrato e si è fatto una passeggiata sopra. Piscina sporca sita vicino un pollaio che puzzava e pieno di moscerini.

Posto a pochi km da Assisi, immerso nella pace con una vista invidiabile. Siamo stati letteralmente adottati dalla signora Marisa che ci ha coccolato con le sue torte fatte in casa. L' appartamento ideale per una coppia con tutti i confort, fresco anche in questo luglio torrido. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa un peccato rientrare alla solita routine.

Posizione ottima, persone cordialissime, lo consigliamo. È a due passi da Assisi, ma immerso nella calma, lungo la bellissima strada Assisi-Spello. Base di partenza per trekking sul monte Subasio. La notte lungo la strada abbiamo incrociato anche due istrici.
