Moon and Stars Athens

We loved this hotel. Very clean, comfortable and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Bird of Happiness room for 3 nights. It was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and it had a great shower. Continental breakfast was included, which was delicious - pastries, coffee, juice etc. One of the best features is that they have a rooftop garden with an amazing view of the Parthenon. (If you stay in the Cloud 9 room you have your own private area with a hot tub on the roof) Tons of restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and have no problem recommending it .

Disappointed with this hotel. We stayed 3 nights in the room «  bird of happiness ». First, the positive of this hotel: good location, the room was spacious, the bed was confortable.The staff was polite and nice. Now the negative: we had an issue with air conditioning, the room temperature was too high . It was sort of dealt with a member of staff, she tried her best but the A/C was really noisy and not working properly. It was hard to sleep at night. We also had a problem with storage/ cupboards…there isn’t enough space for clothes. The wooden floor in the bedroom needs to be repaired. Breakfast is mediocre. It was obvious that the bread and croissants are frozen. But the worst was the coffee, it was horrible. To finish it all, the cleaning lady made a mistake when cleaning the room and our pyjama disappeared… we got it back after asking about it. There are better hotels in Athens for the same price.

Excellent stay. Loved the Cloud 9 room. The room was very cute. We enjoyed our rooftop Jacuzzi and the amazing views. The staff were very friendly. Great breakfast. We thought the location was really good. It was easy to walk to everything. We would definitely stay there again.

A charming, elegant space with a great rooftop terrace, rooms with clean, modern infrastructure. The staff is great- even recommended a favorite souvlaki spot that we absolutely loved. Lovely breakfast. Great walkable location for exploring the lively Psyri nightlife.

We had a terrific 3 night stay at the Moon & Stars boutique hotel. The rooms were unique and spotless, the roof terrace is superb, offering views of the Acropolis and the surrounding area, and in addition is the perfect spot for chilling out and breakfast. The hotel is located right next to a metro station and in the eclectic Psiri district. Highly recommended.

The location cannot be beat! Just far enough outside the busy city center, yet close enough to walk to everything. The rooms and property were very well done and comfortable. We had to leave early each morning so staff provided us with our breakfast the evening before. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had and were all extremely friendly! Being able to see the Acropolis from the rooftop deck was an added bonus! We were jet-lagged and wanted a quiet first night so we ate a takeaway dinner while viewing the Acropolis all lit up … it was magical!
