We are on a sailboat and took advantage of their 10am to 4pm offer with lunch and taxi to/from the port. The pool is lovely as is the staff, and the food. We then came back for dinner, again with the taxi to/from the port. Excellent! What bliss after so long afloat!

A wonderful Lodge with amazing views of the Temetiu Mountain and bay! Loved everything about it!!! Food, service, tours were excellent and the owner/manager is very attentive to the guest. They had a Marquesian dance show one night that was very impressive and authentic, we really enjoyed it! The room and bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious. The views from the pool deck and restaurant were outstanding, just beautiful! The tours we took were fantastic!!! We were so happy there!

Spent 4 nights here on this slice of paradise. We stayed here and as well at Nuku Hiva. Both resorts are unique in the experience. This location is special for its intimate feeling. The staff is all great and feels like family by the time you leave. Highly recommend units 7 or 8 for the views. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. Use the supplied ear plugs, the morning roosters are intent on making sure you see the sunrise but that is everywhere. Do the excursions, Heimata (aka Henry) is amazing, he is a wealth of knowledge on the island, the culture and the plants. I respected his deep faith in his roots and how he shared that with us. Lots of comments prior about the breakfast… completely unwarranted. Food was great every day. If you want a buffet with options to feed a village, stay on Tahiti. Dinners were always great as well. We have been to a number of islands and hotels in FP, this experience is not to be missed, Jean-Jacques and his team go the extra mile making your trip to Hiva Oa special.

This is one of the few accommodations on Hiva Oa, and while a bit pricey, I was not sure what to expect. We stayed here prior to visiting another Pearl Lodge (which had similar bungalows but more updated) so part of my perspective is influenced by the other property. The lodge itself is high in the hills above town (and not an easy journey for self-navigation though they offer a shuttle in the morning and afternoon). The views are great from the property overlooking the town and water. The bungalows themselves are all similar just with different vantage points. We had a nice ocean view from our balcony. The room itself was a little dated and could stand some freshening up (e.g., my window screen had tears) though comfortable. It also had a small outside deck. The hotel offered excursions (really good) and the restaurant was good (even though you were a bit of a captive audience). They also ran a show two nights a week with Marquesan dancing and song. Since you are captive, suggest going with Full Board (not a lot of options in town). Lots of roosters, so make sure to bring or use the provided ear plugs!

Superbe lieu, vue magnifique, personnel très gentil. Excursion à la découverte de l'île avec Henri ; inoubliable. Seul bémol, cet ancien pearl a perdu en entretien au niveau des chambres, ne pas regarder la couleur des interrupteurs et calcaire sur la robinetterie de la douche. L'hôtel n' était pas complet, pas d'animation et gestion des stocks compliquée (eau pétillante, bière), mais on trouve toujours quelque chose. Très bon séjour

Tout comme Eric A que nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer dans ce site merveilleux , je pense qu'il serait peut être temps de redresser un peu la barre en direction de la qualité des services en chambres , qui sont actuellement un peu négligés . La propreté n'étant pas au top . Concernant la restauration rien à dire si ce n'est que les plats proposés sont très bons et copieux , Le petit déjeuné me semble un peu léger dans son choix en comparaison à la concurrence , Le timing de fin des repas est aussi apparemment un stress pour le personnel au service , mais également pour nous , jusqu'à pratiquement nous enlever nos assiettes à 20h55 alors que nous n'avions pas terminé . Concernant les serveuses rien à reprocher , je pense qu'elles respectent les consignes . Petit et même grand compliment particulier pour Alice qui est vraiment douée dans tout les domaines de son métier , avec en plus son sourire et sa gentillesse en permanence . Sinon situation exceptionnelle , vue imprenable , mérite un peu plus d'attention de la part de la direction

Accueil chaleureux à l’aéroport par le boss avec collier de fleurs 🌷 🌸 Confirmation que cet hôtel a certainement l’un des plus beaux emplacement des marquises. Le personnel à la volonté du bien accueillir du bien faire, du bien servir, on peu regretter je pense un manque de formation des équipes pour les détails du service, (tables débarrassées à 21h «pétantes »avec un certain stress qui l’accompagne pour le client afin de ne pas mettre en retard les équipes. ….le dijo et bien non 🥺😉pour l’apéro il faut faire vite. (L’apéro a 20h le repas, puis la suite sont à bannir 🥺) …meilleure pour la santé. 😄 La restauration est d’un bon niveau. L’hôtellerie fait ressortir des chambres qui sont fanées…..avec une propreté douteuse. (Au moins la 3) Un plancher dans notre chambre ne permet pas l’écoulement de l’eau du bac à douche facilement…..au delà de la praticité cela n’est pas rassurant, puis rentrer dans sa douche le premier soir avec un reliquat d’eau…..espérons propre et non des clients précédents….la question a été posée 😕 et nous aurions apprécié de ne pas nous la poser. ! Notre coffre ne fonctionnait pas, après appel à la réception le problème a été géré. Quelques investissements s’imposent monsieur le directeur. On aurait apprécié un au revoir de la direction (certainement occupée ) se qui nous aurait permis d’expliquer ce qui précède, tout cela dans une démarche de bienveillance. Bonne continuation.

Seul hôtel de l’île perché sur les hauteurs, il offre un cadre calme et verdoyant. Le staff est super sympa. Les bungalows sont spacieux même s’ils mériteraient sans doute un p’tit coup de peinture. La terrasse avec la piscine surplombant le village d’Atuona appellent à la relaxation. A conseiller absolument

Séjour de 4 jours au sein de l’hotel Le personnel est d’une gentillesse absolue et toujours souriant, La cuisine est très bonne L’hotel n’est pas tres loin du centre du village Le prix est correct pour les prestation La vue exceptionnelle!! Les bémols : le package visite ne devrait pas être obligatoire du moins pour la visite du village qui peut se faire tout a fait seul L’hôtel manque d’un sérieux coup de fraicheur, que ce soit dans les partie communes ou les chambres même si la vue dans celles ci (montagne ou océan) l’emporte Si les repas sont son très bons, le petit déjeuner devrait être revu Je recommande tout de même, pour l’amabilité du personnel, la situation de l’hotel qui se tond dans le décor
