"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre for one night during my solo travels, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice.
The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Auckland, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Many attractions, restaurants, and shops are just a short walk away, which saved me a lot of time and effort.
What stood out most, however, was the excellent staff. They were not only friendly and professional but went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Whether it was check-in, providing local recommendations, or assisting with my queries, they were always helpful and approachable.
The room itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a comfortable night’s stay. The bed was cozy, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax after a day of exploring.
For solo travelers like myself, I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, attentive staff, and excellent value for money. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Auckland!"
"Luxurious and excellent stay in the heart of Auckland. Booking here was a no-brainer as it's one of the newer and more modern hotels in Auckland CBD + the newness of the bedroom amenities and hotel facilities really showed. The footbridge on level 4 connects this hotel to the older SkyCity Hotel across the street and made it really easy to take shortcuts to avoid traffic (plus great to use in wet weather). The only thing I raised with reception though was I specifically requested a room with nice city views, but was advised I'd have to pay an extra ~$350 NZD per night as these rooms were located on level 8 and onwards. I only knew of this after I entered the room, and noticed a distinct shadow being cast into the room. Turns out we got a room facing the new multi-level carpark being built, so didn't get direct sunlight or nice views. The other thing to note is, this hotel doesn't have a pool. Otherwise, if you're looking to stay somewhere close to shops and restaurants, this is a great option as everything is close in walking distance."
"What a great spot, amazing views, so close to everything.
Bed was very comfortable, amenities were perfect. so clean and tidy and a nice basket of goodies to enjoy.
Our only negative was being right by front door when other guests came in at 3am, noisily chattering outside in the hall way and doors banging closed. (for other guests reading this please be mindful of this when you are coming in at night)
Other than that we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend."

"Must give great praise, the lady who went to the reception was very enthusiastic, and gave us an upgraded room for free! The boss is also very good, gave us a free breakfast, and the price is very reasonable! If you have the chance to choose his home again, there are electric blankets for Chinese people. This is the best point. Parking is free and convenient!"

Discover California-inspired bites in Sienna restaurant fuel up with artisan coffee and healthy snacks at our Grab & Go. "The hotel is conveniently located next to the University of Auckland. You can walk about 1 kilometer to Queen Street. The sofa and chairs in the room are relatively old. Opposite the hotel is a cemetery. It was a bit crowded at night. I stayed for 4 nights and there was no cleaning during the period. I had to change the bath towels by myself every day. I throw away the garbage myself, the kitchen equipment is quite complete, and I buy food from the supermarket and cook it myself."
"We were really fortunate to have gotten a great deal for 2 nights on Trip.com.
On arrival there was more than what was expected once we settled in. The App forgot to mention Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Dryer so prior we were still happy for the price we paid for the accom alone but were smitten and ecstatic to see these included. The Apartment I believe had everything you could possibly need and had been serviced to top notch cleanliness we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights on stay. We would hope in the future we could book this amazing accom if we’re in similar situation"
"It's great, just near Mount Eden, next to a large shopping mall. The apartment is very new and has many rooms. I booked a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which feels like home. The Asian lady at the front desk is very beautiful and nice. The remote control key for parking the car in the garage is given, so it's safe to park in the garage. It is said that if you park outside and get towed away on the road, you will have to pay a high towing fee. The clothes drying rack in the bathroom can be heated, and the clothes washed at night are completely dry in the morning, which is great. This is the best place I stayed during this trip to New Zealand."

Great
ZZahwah B.Park Hyatt was exquisite! Room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a stylish, extravagant stay in Auckland.
GGuest Userhad to book a lastmin overnight stay due to flight delay. Can take yellow bus or an Uber to the hotel. Price is the same if you are 2 adults. Note that no supermarket near the hotel but the restaurant inside is surprisingly good and affordable. No complaint.
Room is just standard and clean.
GGuest UserHave stayed here before and find it the best value for a place to stay overnight close to the airport with a free shuttle. Reception staff pleasant on arrival and departure. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but looks nice. Would stay here again if the price remains lower than other options.
GGuest UserThe location is quite good and the room is large and bright. The car can park just outside the room.
But there is no space to put the clothing in the toilet. We cannot watch TV since it relies on wifi and the signal is very poor. We have 4 ppl but only 3 can connect wifi. My access card cannot work and no one at reception can help even I waited for 10 minutes. Luckily I met a housekeeper who can assist me.
XXiaoliangxuechangThe hotel boasts an elegant ambiance, well-equipped facilities, and attentive, thoughtful service, ensuring guests feel incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with soft, plush bedding, making for an exceptional stay. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with delicious options that cater to diverse tastes. Its prime location offers convenient transportation, with an abundance of attractions and dining options nearby. The staff are warm, friendly, and highly responsive; their meticulous and exceptionally detailed service is truly impressive. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this place is an excellent choice! The value for money is outstanding; it's truly worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to every traveler! I look forward to staying here again to experience this warmth and professionalism once more!
GGuest UserFriendly staff, one of the employees gave us some wrong information but it didn’t hinder our experience, the staff member that drove us to the airport was very friendly and punctual, very happy about a free airport shuttle service and good value for money hotel, would stay there again 😊
TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!
GGuest UserThe outside of the hotel looks a bit crappy but the room is neat and clean.
The location is amazing because it is really super close to the airport and they offer shuttle service.
Service was good but there was no reception and had to go to the motel next door, but the staff there was very helpful.
王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
