we’ve stayed here a few times over the years and love the place. now under new and very efficient owners who are investing heavily to provide new rooms and updating the existing rooms. i’ve stayed in a lot of hotels right across france,and this place really is far and away the tops. i have never encountered a better organised team than the happy, smiley people running the goyen,they simply can’t do enough to help your stay run on oiled wheels. already the best hotel in audierne,with way the best view, good parking,and everywhere walkable. if i sound a bit enthusiastic,i am, well done to the new management, and thank you very much les bretons. :)) don’t hesitate,this is the one !

Right in the centre of the old town. View of the port and marina. Older charming hotel. Nice breakfast and great staff and service. Parking on the street.

Amazing, helpful, friendly service from start to finish. 5 days of excellence. Room was so cozy too. Views over the river. Very effective blinds.

We had just arrived at our holiday destination and wanted to view the restaurant before deciding where to eat there later that evening. The reception we were given was frosty, very unfriendly and unhelpful. There are many other restaurants in the area with better hospitality.

Stayed 15/9/2022, our night was great the hotel was great, however we booked through booking.com,when we checked out the following morning ,the price of the room was on the bill too.We checked , we had not been charged by ***********, so paid the hotel.We have also been charged by Booking.com.We have been in touch with *********** on 17/9/22, heard nothing, again 5/10/22, then 7/10/22 , each time they have said Le Goyen would refund our card, we have called today 9/10/22 *********** said they have paid Le Goyen, So the Hotel should refund our money,we are still wating

Visited the restaurant with 3 families and had sub-standard experience (both service and food). 3 dishes were forgotten and only served after multiple reminders (rest of the group had already finished their entrees and plats). Waiter spilled food on a leather jacket. We had to pour wine ourselves. Both the mediterranean and brazilian fish course were oily and bland. Most disappointing was that no apologies were offered and the responsible staff was hiding behind low level employees until we had left.

Als Alleinreisender ist es so wohltuend, wenn man freundlich empfangen wird. Die Menschen an der Rezeption von Beginn an meinen Namen kennen und sagen. Mir Tipps und Vorschläge für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt und Unternehmungen in der Gegend geben ... Immer Zeit für meine kleine Anliegen haben ... ich nie warten muss, bis man mir zuhört. Das Zimmer: so schön romantisch mit Blick auf den Hafen. Groß und gut ausgestattet (Kühlschrank, Kaffee- und Teezubereitung, 2 Waschbecken, Regendusche, Bidet, 2 Balkone, Kingsizebett, Super-Bettzeug, Bademantel, W-Lan, TV) und natürlich immer täglich sauber. Insgesamt ein richtig hohes Niveau der Gastlichkeit mit einem persönlichen Touch . Ich möchte gerne Tristan von der Rezeption hier danken und hervorheben, der ein perfekter Ansprechpartner war mit Zeit und Offenheit für kleine Touristen Gespräche mit mir.
