On arrival, the first disappointment: the restaurant room is awful and actually completely deserted. A second horrible impression when you open the bedroom door: it smells bad. The floor which is carpeted is dirty in several places. The experience continues on the same lamentable note: the VMC in the bathroom does not work. Nor that of the room for that matter, which explains the bad smells. Toilet paper is the same thickness as cigarette paper. The sink faucet is electronically controlled and to be able to brush your teeth you have to block your view in order to have a jet of water that lasts long enough. We then realize that the flow from the sink is insufficient and that the water is stagnating. The shower head is ridiculously small. In short, the bathroom is a horror. Positive points: the bedding is of good quality and although we are close to the N7 there is no noise pollution, the room is quiet. The person at reception does his job with a smile. The parking lot is large and fenced. That said, I hadn't had the opportunity to stay in a Campanile for at least 15 or 20 years and I am all the more disappointed as I had good memories of these simple and rather warm hotels with catering in general. correct or even good quality for certain establishments. So I booked this hotel with complete confidence. So I don't know if this hotel reflects the general evolution of the chain or if Campanile Avignon Sud is an exception, but I am certain that it will not be tomorrow the day before that I will set foot in a hotel of this brand again!

They take us for liars when booking with a gift box for 2 and we pay the extra for our daughter, they suddenly tell us yes it's possible so we send an email and no response.
