Fabulous place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated, very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our host was great in recommending places to see and to eat Delicious breakfast The location was perfect 2 minute walk to the bridge and to the square at the Pope’s Palace, and everywhere in the old city. Would definitely stay here again

This is a wonderful hotel within the walls of Avignon. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable in every respect. Our hostess Rosalie was kind and very helpful both in allowing us to unload our luggage right in front, directing us to parking, and both recommending and making dinner reservations. Included breakfast was perfect served on a rooftop terrace. Highly recommend and definitely would return

This bed and breakfast has rooms that are much bigger than your average hotel. It also has a terrace on the third floor where you can bring a bottle of wine and enjoy. The downside is you have stairs to get to your rooms. The breakfast is standard French, but it could use more protein and fruit.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Le Limas. Rosalee helped us with dinner reservations; made suggestions about sights to see; and was the perfect hostess. We stayed for six nights in late September while taking several tours to different parts of Provence. It was a good location for our trip. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend Le Limas highly.

Stop your search and book now! I am a French professor in US and travel to France very frequently. I even studied abroad in Avignon many years ago. For my return to this charming city, I found one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in all of my travels. First, the location is exceptional. Three minute walk to the Pont d’Avignon, a few minutes to walk to the Palais des Papes. Street was calm and safe. (Plus there’s a code to get into the main door, and another door that opens with a key. So secure). There are a lot of stairs (no elevator), but I got luggage up, no problem. I was in the beautiful room called LE PALAIS. Enormous windows looking out towards the palace (mostly greenery/trees), a super spacious room, and absolutely SPOTLESS. Quiet and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was upstairs on a beautiful terrace overlooking the palace: a mix of croissants, yogurt, crepes, fresh bread, jam, cheeses. At this “maison d’hôte” (B&B), I’ve never felt so at home before… I actually was a little choked up when I left! Rosalie is an amazing host and actually became a great friend. When I missed my train connection and had to get in really late, she stayed up and made sure that a taxi had been rearranged. When I took day trips, she checked on me, making sure that everything was OK. Anything I needed—an iron, a bag to go shopping, recommendations for dinner…she was there to help. I will never forget my 5-day stay here, as I felt like somebody cared and was always looking out for me. Mille mercis Rosalie! :)

We have spent 4 nights in this beatiful house, wish we had more.We have arrived Avignon Central train station and than by very short taxi drive to Le Limas.The owner “ Rosalie “ welcomed us ,brief information about the area, restaurants etc. Le Limas has perfect location ,easy to walk all touristic attractions , restaurants. Room is very nice and clean , clean towels,tea bags and bottled drinking water everyday.The rooftop is very beatiful ,you could enjoy the view . Madame Rosalie is very nice lady , since we were leaving early in the morning she arranged us taxi and take away breakfast.Thank you Le Limas.
