As a solo traveller a warm welcome by the friendly and helpful staff is important. That is exactly what the people at Nuovo Castello Crisillo did and I felt at home from the first moment. Since there were hardly any other guests - the high season had yet to begin - I had the pool for my own.

Beautiful setting in Avola. Took some friends from London with us and they amazed. Tranquil environment , beautiful landscaped gardens with a large pool and very clean rooms . Service was excellent and the hosts where extremely friendly and professional.

Unfortunately we only had a few days stay at this beautiful place. The grounds were spectacular and kept immaculate. We were lucky to have the pool to ourselves for 2 days so we felt like VIP’s as pool drinks service was also available with beautiful views of citrus groves and olive trees and out to sea. Oriana was a great host as were all the people we met who ran the place. They even turned the garden lights on for us so that we could see the effect which was amazing so thanks for that as we didn’t have time to thank you before we left early hours of the morning. I could go on and on about this lovely place and would recommend to anyone. It was totally 100% in every way.

Fabulous staff and a lovely room. The gardens and pool were awesome and they let us relax there after checking out, before heading off to our next destination. I would especially like to thank Oriana and Anna, for all their help and just for being special people. Lovely to meet you.

Beautiful small family run hotel. Clean with spectacular well cared garden and pool. Owners very helpful with daily tips where to go. Olive trees around the hotel must be hundreds of years old with flowering plants in between. Rooms clean and practical worth to re visit

The property is well maintained and well cared for. The rooms in their simplicity are comfortable and clean. The staff is very kind and attentive to the needs of the client. The pool is fabulous. Surely, if I were to return to the area, I would choose the property again.

We had New Year's Eve dinner with my friends, everything was inedible, the food was really awful not to mention the service, half a bottle of wine on the table and they bring it🤣 I don't recommend it
