We were really impressed by the hotel. The only negative is that they don’t include Smirnoff Vodka as part of the All Inclusive deal. Staff were very pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Waitress Lia , Antonious, Greta and the pool bar staff and of course the guys in the bar at night as we watched the entertainment. All truly great workers. The animation team worked their butt off to provide some great entertainment and Chloe and her colleagues put on some good shows. Only negative is that the shows are performed in an outdoor area and as a non smoking family we were unable to escape the smoke and therefore had to sit inside… ( we missed out on the atmosphere of the shows). Perhaps a split area one side for smoking the other smoke free would be better. The drinks were good, the beer was tasty enough and not gut rot. A lovely beach with sunbeds that you pay for as it’s a municipal beach. And a walk way from the hotel right along the coast via Nissi beach to Aya Nappa …. Had to use the bus into Aya Napps €1.50 each way. After 9 pm it’s €2.50 each way. All in this was a very nice place .. I have to mention the Kings Sword pub on the main road was a great night out for food and drink ( just for a change).

First impressions of this hotel were not good. Our flight was an hour late and was greeted at reception by a gentleman, who ended slamming our key card on the desk and just pointing in the direction of our room. No porter service and definitely no customer service! Rooms were clean and throughout the stay they were cleaned daily. Can’t fault the cleaning staff apart from last day. We had a late flight and thought we had our room until noon. The cleaner knocked on the door at 11am asking us to vacate so she can clean the room ready for next people. Good variety of food, themed nights. On the nights we were not keen on we ate out of the hotel. Waiting staff were very good and efficient. Beach was amazing. Few bad points: No kettle or coffee making facilities in rooms. Swim up pools - jacuzzi seats are all broken with sharp metal sticking out where the jets are on your back. The swim up pools tile grout was full of black mould and green algae. The terraces of the swim up room have structural bars going diagonal across from top to bottom, hubby kept hitting his head. Also just outside a fire exit door there is also a bar going across. If you had to evacuate in a hurry this would be a major trip hazard at it is at foot level! No late checkout rooms available for swim ups. Ended up sitting around from 11am until 6.30pm for our transfer. Made our last day long and very boring. Can’t comment on entertainment as we didn’t watch any.

We were at Asterias for a week, from the moment we walked in the staff were all friendly and accomodating. The room was stocked with essentials like water, towels (beach and bath towels both included), shower gel, hand wash gel and shampoo. We had a balcony and all rooms seemed to have one too, the views were amazing with the pool and ocean in sight. Our room was spacious equipped with UK plugs as well as a working tv with various channels including UK ones. Constantinos was the bar manager and was always there every night, he recommended lovely wine for my partner and I and was always up for a chat. The bar staff were all lovely and very professional often checking in on us and checking if we wanted more drinks. We dinned for dinner once which was average, the bbq night was lovely. Lots of meat and lots of flavours but nothing special, the chefs were very efficient making sure everything was effortlessly stocked up. The waiting staff were efficient often clearing played and cutlery. Not much of an effort was made from the waiting staff, they were all lovely but didn’t really make an effort to talk to customers, not sure if it is because of the environment, which is understandable. But we love when we can talk to our servers and engage with them. The resort has a team that runs activities all day, given that is was the end of the season, most afternoon activities like pool volleyball weren’t on. Every morning we participated in wellness sessions with the lovely team. Chloe was our first instructor, she is charismatic and a ball of positive energy. We soon met Ines, Christina and Jennifer who all had amazing energy and enthusiasm, they were all very professional and friendly often engaging with us and other residents during the day and night . There was also a young Italian man part of the team, he was fantastic, energetic often making the whole resort laugh during evening performances from the group. The group put together amazing performances of dance, singing and theatre, these were phenomenal to be a part of and will forever remember the team. Overall, our experience was lovely. A few possible changes we would have liked would probably be the water in the rooms, we had a bottle the first night but had to ask for more from bar for the rest of the trip. The housekeeping team were also amazing and don’t get enough credit to how much effort they put into those rooms. A possible improvement would be to clear out plates and glasses, we had wine glasses and plates from our first two nights which didn’t get cleared and we had to take them down with us one evening just to get rid of them. There was also annoyingly a lot of hair that didn’t belong to either my partner or I in the towels and bedding linen, a good eye for this is important as most of it is from linen companies but isn’t a good look at all. The food is quite expensive in both the a la carte restaurant and main restaurant. Given you get a buffet for dinner and lunch it’s not too bad, bu

We came in mid November 2024 for 5 nights, we are two female friends from the UK. This was end of season and we were informed hotel closes end of November. We were all inclusive. Overall this is a lovely hotel, very clean; relaxing, great food, different activities on offer, entertainment team lovely, SPA is a lovely addition. Could use a few little improvements. Positives: * Lovely concierge on arrival to take suitcases to room with us. * Staff at reception are lovely and very helpful, all speaking english. * Rooms are lovely and all very modern, we paid for a basic room: had a mini frigde, bottled water in room on arrival (not daily), UK plug sockets and USB sockets (no need to bring travel adaptors, reading lights by bed, lots of storage, powerful hairdryer supplied, 1 or 2 english channels on TV (no netflix or youtube). * Pink wave entertainment team are lovely- Kristyna and Chloe are are the best- so friendly, chatty, engaging and getting us involved in lots. * Some shows are brilliant- Costas singer wonderful, dancing show was great, Pink Wave animation team show was amazing and magic show was good. * Food is really lovely- lots of flavour and lots of choice for vegetarian and meat eaters. One of the best all inclusive food we have had. * You get a pool towel and can replace every day - no need to bring one with you. * Gorgeous location- view of the beach from the pool was amazing. * Gym is great- lots of equipment. * Table service at lunch and dinner is great: You are always asked if you would like a drink straight away, they are good at taking away dirty plates. Cutlery is very clean, plates very clean. * Table service in the evening when watching entertainment is also very good. Not so good points: * outdoor pool is freezing and not heated. However, the pool is very clean. * In the spa the pool is heated, however only a sauna, steam room was not working and no jacuzzi. * We brought drinks to our room from the bar as there are no drinks in the fridge. A few days in a row the cleaners would not take the dirty glasses from the room unless we asked. * You have to ask for a 1L bottle of water at lunch or dinner, otherwise you cannot ask for bottles of water from the bar any other time. They will fill up empty bottles for you with fresh water but only at the bar during other times in the day. * Please note: when we came the Panorama rooftop bar was not open in November. Suggestions to improve: * Have a jacuzzi and steam room. * Some of the singers in the evening were not very good (costas was very good) but the other singers not as lively. * A drag show, another different dance show or something different to singing is needed. * Could have a little night club in the evening in case you don’t want to go to ayaia napa. * Table service at breakfast: Tea, coffee and drinks should be brought to you as it was a bit of an effort to go and get your own tea/ coffee from the machine in the morning. * Needs a few water machin

Very good hotel, well maintained, clean and organized. Full of guests even in November. Staff was very polite, speaking several languages. Food various, very well prepared and served. Little bit far from the Ayia Napa center, but the local bus drives very near, so it`s easy to reach the city. Taxi in an option also, and it`s not expensive at all. Hotel is located just 20-30 meters from Macronissos beach, which is beautiful.

We were drawn in by the beach which is lovely, but very busy. It's a public beach and you'll need to pay daily for sunbeds which are stacked in rows. Those that have taken pictures of a quiet beach must have gotten up very early to do so. It's still a beautiful beach however. The other positive is the food. Not a huge hotel so the buffet isn't very large but the choice you do have is really good. The rooms are also decent and spacious. Now for the negatives: we opted for all inclusive and the experience has put me off all inclusive. Here there is no convenience or value in the all-inclusive. No drinks in the room, not even tea, coffee and water...let me say that again, no water in the room after the first day. If you ask for a bottle of water outside of meals you will be sent away with a small plastic cup of water. If you need a drink in the middle of the night or you are unwell, too bad. I'd understand if this was an environmental initiative but it isn't, hence the plastic cups. Then there is the beach bar, which is part of the hotel but not included in the all-inclusive. They have better drinks and cater for dietary requirements, i.e. oat milk. As all inclusive you get 10% off. Even more annoying they have lovely beach beds which are €50 to use which felt excessive. We were charged €70 for the front, at this point we paid up to save a holiday going extremely south. The hotel has a la carte restaurants but no visits included in the all inclusive. I honestly think they don't want to be an all inclusive and as a result it is extremely poor value for money, just remove the option! Next the amenities and entertainment. The evening entertainment was not very good but lots of people seemed to enjoy it ... We used the spa pool as it was quiet and this was free. However, we had to pay €10pp for an hour of the sauna and €20pp for 30 mins in the jacuzzi. The latter is at least private and romantic, but what's the point in charging to use the sauna. Everything here feels like an opportunity to make more money, you select a hotel for amenities not realising you have to pay extra for everything, and without it, what do you have? With the cost of the hotel being quite high, it just leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel!
