This is the dirtiest and lowest grade of hotel I have EVER stayed in, in my life. Please don't ruin your holiday by staying here. Only thing is nice sea front (Rocks/not sit beach) location. Staff are foul - most will just ignore you but god help you if you want some help from them - they just laugh if you ask. The female (back office) manager just trots around with her coffee like she's God and looks down on everyone she passes. There are 3 blocks to the hotel: Main block with reception - oldest, dirtiest and lowest grade block and if your room number starts with a '6', it's gonna be bad - no view other than AC units from balcony. All this block overlooks AC units but the higher up ones get a bit of a view. They throw all the revellers in this one so with loud music and all night partying, you are not going to sleep. The rooms are falling to bits and filthy. More like a hostel but everything in there has parts missing - fridges with no shelves. Bathrooms are miniscule and you have to turn around and close the door to be able to sit on the loo. Showers dirty and full of mould. *Look at some of the pics travellers have shared* Low block facing the pool - marginally better but I would still not want to stay here as it's starting to look more like the old block. New(er) block facing the beach with plunge pools - you only get allocated these if you've paid a fortune for the holiday and the photos the hotel markets on their website/holiday sites are in this block. They wouldn't dare share photos of the majority of the rooms as no one would book. Maids do as little as possible and the only way to get clean sheets and towels is to throw them outside of your room in the morning so they HAVE to change them. Otherwise you'll have the same ones for your stay. Tip from Receptionist! Food - breakfasts are barely (and I do mean barely) acceptable, don't change and the sausages and bacon are awful. Only thing acceptable was the (sometimes) fresh/made to order omelettes but you only get a teaspoon of added ingredients (ham/cheese etc). Dinner - sorry it's mostly slop and I would recommend going breakfast only if you chose to stay here. Most didn't bother eating here when I stayed. Kai Restaurant - decent snack/small meal menu and prices are ok but none of this is included in your stay and will cost extra. Slow to serve. I have stayed in Ayia Napa a few times and there are decent hotels which you will pay the same or less for. Definitely one to give a miss - be warned!

When we arrived we got told that something was wrong and that we would have to go to another hotel. We asked why? Nothing had been communicated to us till this point of arrival. As for the inconvenience they upgraded us to half board. We explained that half board isn’t something we really want as our plan was to explore the restaurants in the city. They said this is all we can do so you can either accept the half board and sign the waver or don’t take the half board but either way we would still have to go to the other hotel. It was really upsetting to turn up and be given no choice or choose to be homeless. This back and forth conversation was going on for at least 40 minutes of which they were just refusing any thing we asked for. And the receptionist suggested for us to “get checked in and calm down” even tho we were already very calm just quite frustrated. We even said because we have a pool party the next day could we get showered somewhere and she said “no”. With no option we went to hotel Anthea across the road. We were told it’s with the same rate of the hotel we booked at. EVERYTHING about this hotel is DISGUSTING!! we were greeted by a rude receptionist who didnt even smile at us and just said “passports”. At Pierre Anne we booked a twin room, 3 beds with a sea view and balcony. When we walked into the room. It was outdated, we didn’t get a sea view, myself didn’t even have a proper bed to sleep in and we didint even have a balcony. I have put photos of what we had paid for at Pierre Anne and what we got put in. We went back to Pierre Anne and asked the receptionist if we could change hotels as the Anthea was really dirty and not what we paid for. She refused to help, said the manager was at home asleep and didn’t want to awake her! there’s nothing else she can do. I even asked would you want to stay here and she said “no” ! She then asked me “have you ever stayed in Cyprus before” i responded “no first time” to which she replied “well this is what it’s like”. I asked if I could find another hotel to stay in? she just shrugged her shoulder at me. Despite the lies told I did find another hotel available but then made the excuse we’ve already sent Anthea the money. At this point me and My friends were begging to not have to stay at Anthea. Another 30 minutes of trying the receptionist rang Anthea hotel and said can you upgrade the girls your end. Anthea agreed and we made our way back. When we arrived the rude receptionist just started saying “no no no you paid standard room at Pierre Anne you get standard room here” we explained what we was told. he then sighed and walked off, started arguing with people outside (I’m assuming moaning about us) we had no a clue what was going on. We was then shown an “upgraded” room. It was the exact same as the first one we got put in but only this time there was bugs in the kitchen!! At this point I just started crying as I was so exhausted. I didn’t sleep the whole night; music was playing by the pool

Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! Upon arrival I was slightly skeptical due to extremely mixed reviews of this hotel, however I remained optimistic as the images advertised of this hotel are lovely and the price me and my friend paid for this hotel would have reflected the quality of these rooms. As I checked in and headed to my room I was already feeling less hope, the corridors were dirty and there were huge bugs everywhere, I know this is normal in a foreign country but it looked more like a bug habitat. I then opened the door to my hotel room and was met with an extremely dark and dingy room, nothing like the images provided whilst booking. There was zero light in the room, the balcony door would not open and the air con also did not work, this resulted in an awful unbearable heat 24/7. Furthermore, the wardrobe doors were broken and the entire place was filthy. The floor was gritty and left the soles of your feet black. This is not what you want to walk into your hotel room and be met with. Upon further inspection, the bathroom was in a ridiculous state, the shower and bathroom appliances looked as though it had not been cleaned in years, the limescale and dirt was atrocious. There was a dirty wash cloth and bar of soap left over from the previous guests also. This makes me question whether my room had even been cleaned before my arrival, which is honestly the bare minimum to expect when paying to stay at a hotel. I then decided that this was an unacceptable state to be expected to live in so I went and complained to the receptionist which she told me that there was nothing she could do as the hotel was overbooked and that they were having to send guests to other hotels as there were no more rooms available. She then agreed with me and said that if this was her she would be just as angry. I then questioned about the sheer false advertising and she told me that this is nothing to do with them? Which it clearly is, it can't be anyone else's fault except the hotel. She then told me to come back on the Monday (This was Saturday) to speak to the main manager, however still told me nothing will get done. I received zero apology and felt as though they had just disregarded me. The next day approaches, to which we were met with a cockroach infestation, baring in mind we have never had our balcony door open etc as it did not work and also did not have any food or drink in the room. The cockroaches were on all of our clothes and pillows, extremely unsanitary. I booked a hotel in Cyprus not signed up to take part in Im a Celebrity Get me out of here (although that is what It felt like). I then proceeded to complain again this was possibly about the fourth time in less than 2 days, as I had complained about the air con etc, something they also could not do anything about apparently. I told the receptionist that I could not in anyway reasonably be expected to sleep in a room with cockroaches, to which the lady at the receptionist to

We have a bad impression of Piere Anna Beach Hotel. The hotel staff is very unfriendly, the reception provides no information, and they are quite unwelcoming to the hotel guests. Jelena at the reception is unapproachable, unpleasant, and unwelcoming. The rooms are full of various bugs and ants. Also, the rooms are untidy, the maids are careless, and they don’t leave towels in the room. Hygiene is at a very low level. The only praise goes to the food at the hotel. The hotel’s location is also in a good position. NO AIR CONDITIONING NO WIFI HAS BEEN WORKING THE CLEANERS ARE ABSOLUTELY RUDE WHEN YOU ASK THEM FOR TISSUE OR NEW FRESH TOWELS WE HAVE COMPLAINED MULTIPLE TIMES ABOUT HOW SMELLY AND DIRTY THE ROOM IS

It was very nice if you love simplicity, well located on the main avenue with all the restaurants around. The receptionist Violetta was amazing. Everything was great especially the Kai bar and the amazing view of the sea. As a 20 year old we had a lot of fun there as well !

Do not stay here! Worst hotel I’ve ever been! We arrived and got allocated our room only for them to send us outside the hotel and into an apartment that wasn’t even part of the hotel. It was unsafe and dangerous no doors to the apartment and balcony door wouldn’t lock or even shut properly, scary for a group of young girls like us. We got false advertised and the staff couldn’t have cared less how upset and annoyed we were, instead they just laughed. We were put in a hotel room not even in the hotel after paying the same amount as everyone else. It was that bad the next morning we had to book another hotel at the Ramada hotel which were absolutely amazing at helping us out. However Pierre Anne offered us no refund or anything to apologise, instead as soon as we left they used our room for someone else as they had overbooked so many people. I have never arrived on holiday and been so upset and annoyed to get to a hotel. Do not stay here! They don’t deserve our money what so ever!!!

The hotel is in a great location, on the first line with the sea and in a quiet place almost in the city center, there are many restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment nearby, as well as a bus stop where you can get to popular beaches or to the city center, although everything is actually within walking distance. The hotel itself has an excellent concept, there is everything you need, a swimming pool with sunbeds, access to the sea (entry into the sea through the stones, it is not convenient but you can swim) there is a beach bar and a restaurant with breakfasts, and lunches or dinners. The food in the hotel is very good, breakfasts almost do not change, but for dinner there was always something new. You can also change your dinner for lunch at the beach bar. The rooms were relatively old, but with a small renovation, in general for the cost of living its good. Our bed sheets was not changed and the air conditioning did not work, we asked at the reception to fix this and everything was done, for which thank you. We also got there during a period when there were a lot of noisy English companies in the hotel, who turned on music and shouted all night long, we asked the reception to tell them this and it became a little quieter, but in the reviews I saw this quite often, so I'm not sure that a holiday with children will be the best option. The hotel has very friendly and nice staff who are always ready to help you. I leave my rating 4/5 because there is room to improve, but the hotel definitely deserves your visit for a great holiday!
