This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this premier inn because it was so lovely the first time. A BIG shout out to Dave on the reception, an absolute gentleman that goes above and beyond to help you. Will see you again! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable x

Staff at reception are always hospitable and on one occasion, Upendra went over and beyond to provide me with an Ultimate Wi-Fi 24-HR access voucher after listening to my complaints about shockingly poor service on two previous stays, that prevented me from working remotely due to the advertised speeds not being met. Upendra also highlighted that upgrade works have since been implemented to rectify this in the building.

Extremely comfortable bed, hotel very basic but served its purpose. No on site restaurant however friendly pub next door selling pub grub. I want to say a particular thank you to Bernie on the front desk who was very helpful with booking me a taxi and friendly.

This hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. It's awful. The room was smelt awful, the curtains were falling off, the heater didn't work, the bed was badly made. The cost was ridiculous at £137 without breakfast. Overall, don't stay unless it's been refurbished.

A good budget hotel which is inexpensive and convenient. However, there are no breakfast facilities and we were asked to go to a cafe about 10 mins drive as an alternative. Not easy if you don’t have a car. The room was non-smoking but smelt as though someone had smoked in it.

The room was cold and felt damp. The heating kept clicking off after a few minutes, even though it hadn’t reached the desired temperature. And the room was very cold too. 16 degrees at one point when I looked on the thermostat. The bathroom was in a poor state of repair and smelt very mouldy and damp and there were visible patches of mould on the ceiling and on the door and doorframe. The room was also very noisy, and we could hear footsteps from the floor above and people walking past outside.

We stayed for our winter meet, and from booking in to when we left everything was brilliant! Clean rooms, great service and fabulous staff. A comfortable bed, and a perfect night’s sleep…… what more could you ask for. Looking forward to next year.
