Ira by Orchid, Ayodhya

I expected a much higher standard based on the hotel’s rating. I wouldn’t recommend Ira and will likely choose a different place to stay next time. I would give 5 stars for the staff, they provided amazing service.

Hotel is clean and nice also, and the service is excellent

Extremely Disappointing Experience Hotel Ira in Ayodhya was a major letdown. The room was bare and unwelcoming—there was absolutely no furniture apart from a cot, and the only window was small and sealed, making the space feel claustrophobic. For the high tariff they charge, I expected at least basic amenities and a comfortable atmosphere. To make things worse, the restaurant prices were also exorbitantly high, with nothing to justify the cost. Given Ayodhya’s significance as a destination, it’s unfortunate that a hotel in such a prime location offers such poor value for money. Would not recommend. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone known to me.

Visiting Ayodhya for the first time, we had very little expectations from what the city has to offer in terms of comfortable stay. Ira by Orchid is beyond expectations and comparable to any top notch affordable accommodation in a top tier city. We got a great reception, the rooms were neat and clean. All bathroom fittings were as good as any 5 star hotel. Toiletries were better than a few 5 stars. Now coming to the restaurant, breakfast spread was limited but it is the most delicious spread ever. Even fried food didn’t made us feel bloated. The jalebi was out of this world. I’ve had a lot of Jalebis in my 40+ years, but nothing like it, and pair it with fresh Dahi. Just WOW. Even the food items from the menu were extremely delicious, healthy and carefully priced. The staff is very responsive and extremely well behaved. You feel welcomed to the place. What else does one want on a religious family vacation? Nothing. We just returned today with extremely happy memories on the stay and the awesome city of Lord Ram, Ayodhya. Jai Shri Ram!

The service was really amazing. The staff was just fab. They went beyond everything to provide us the best services. We were extremely delighted and completely satisfied with their hospitality and professionality. This kind of staff and overall experience available in Ayodhya will really help people and city to grow and make tourism smooth and better. By the way the front office staff including Mr. Abhinav, Miss Ayushi and Mr Prasanjeet were so helpful and kind. Good bless everyone. I genuinely prefer this place.
