Dzedah,the manager of Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, warmly welcomed my wife and I and explained all the meal times and facilities as soon as we arrived. The setting on the lake was wonderful. We swam in a large swimming pool watching birds and one giraffe at the lakeside. All of our meals were first rate and the meal service was excellent. The lodge even provided us the opportunity to pick what food items we wanted for our lunch during an all day safari. All in all, we have stayed at several tented camps and my wife and I rate this camp as one we enjoyed the most.

Fantastic spot – incredibly beautiful and clean premises with amazing service. The workers there looked genuinely happy and were so friendly. Joyce in particular worked incredibly hard and meticulous in every detail – at dinner my mom lost a battery pack case walking in the dark and the next morning she had found it and gave it back to my mom. The rooms were beautiful – they had hot showers, hot and cold drinking water, lots of charging stations, and even mosquito repellent at the ready. The mosquito nets were very helpful, and the pool was spectacular for cooling off. The food here was one of the best – there was a huge selection of delicious local foods for dinner, and for breakfast they had an omelette/egg station/fresh hashbrown station along with all the typical breakfast items. In the evening we saw elephants in the distance as well. Absolutely would recommend this place!

We spend one night at the Baobab tented camp during our safari in Tansania. Food and location were excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. The camp really lives up to its name as "Home of the Elephants". On our drive to the camp we even encountered a bull, who appeared "not so happy" with us crossing his territory, but thanks to our experienced guide we managed the situation well.

We stayed a night here. Staff were super friendly, food was plenty and quite good, accommodations were very clean, and overall a very environmentally friendly camp. It was incredible at night as you could hear the animals and we even saw an elephant walking in front of our tent! A very authentic experience and glad we stayed here.

Excellent destination with great welcoming staffs, good food best tents and lovely environment. In the morning we came across a leopard footprint..it was amazing… the baobab trees in compound depicts the name and I assure you of coming back soon.

All you could expect, and more from a safari camp. Staff were excellent, and couldn't do enough to help our stay go well. The accommodation and food was very good. The packed lunches were very good and varied. Contrary to another review, all beds that I saw had mosquito nets!

A place I will never forget! It is located within the Serengeti. Clean and spacious tents, good buffet food and a super helpful and caring staff. At night, you’re escorted by a guy with arrow and bow. But above all: they can organise a Bush dinner. That’s where I was asked to marry my husband. In the middle of the Savannah, a fire, candle light, super attentive staff members and security guys, champagne and delicious food. Oh, and I said: yes!

Our stay at Baobab Tented Camp in Tarangire was nothing short of magical. Despite arriving late due to an unexpected but wonderful delay in the park, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was absolutely delicious, and our family tent felt like something straight out of a movie. We slept wonderfully well, and waking up to the sight of an elephant on the property was an incredible experience that we'll never forget. The meals were consistently excellent, and even the lunch boxes provided were of top quality. Baobab Tented Camp truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this camp to anyone seeking an extraordinary and memorable safari experience in Tarangire.
