Lovely classic hotel with very comfortable rooms, a great spa facility and and incredibly helpful and attentive staff. The breakfast buffet is complete with something for every taste buds. Quiet, very clean and centrally located. We will return

Ein wunderbarer Wochendtrip! Hatten Halbpension gebucht. Frühstück sehr liebenswert angerichtet und vom Umfang toll. Abendessen in 4 Gängen auf hohem Niveau, immer mit dem gewissen Pfiff. Spa Bereich sehr gepflegt und schön. Insg fühlt man sich in eine vergangene Zeit zurückversetzt, alle Räumlichkeiten wie in einem klassischen Wiener Kaffeehaus, nur ohne Grantel. Wir sind begeistert!

Der Besitzerwechsel im Januar hat dem Hotel (bisher) nicht gut getan. Das „alte“ Personal mühte sich nach Kräften, konnten aber nicht alle Defizite kompensieren. Der Handtuchservice im Saunabereich klappte nicht, das Buffet ist ausgedünnt, und das neue Personal wirkte freundlich, aber insgesamt nur mäßig engagiert.

Wir haben das Paket „Wanderlust“ gebucht und wurden mit Wanderkarte, Proviantrucksäcke und wertvolle Tips versorgt. Im Belle Epoche wurden wir mit Massagen verwöhnt, ganz zu schweigen von dem herrlichen Termalbereich. Das reichhaltige, abwechslungsreiche Frühstück und das 4 Gänge gourmet Abendessen rundeten unseren Aufenthalt. Amenities wie Wasser, Äpfel, Kaffee/Tee-Station,Pantoffeln, Bademantel und Spakorb erwarteten uns im Zimmer.

Wir hatten diesen Kurzurlaub gebucht um nach einer sehr stressigen Phase zu entspannen. Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten in der Gegend zu wandern. Leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig und es waren sehr viele Familien mit kleinen Kindern dort. In der Nacht war es sehr laut so dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Neben den Gesprächen und schreienden Kindern aus den Nebenzimmern war unser Zimmer auch direkt an der Geschäftsstraße gelegen. Im Frühstücksraum herrscht trotz der sehr gehobenen Ausstattung eher Kantinenstimmung. Das Schwimmbad haben wir nicht genutzt da hier hauptsächlich Kinder gespielt haben, leider sind diese auch in der Sauna umher gerannt, so dass hier kaum eine Möglichkeit zur Entspannung gegeben war. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und alles war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aus unserer Sicht nicht. Wir waren zuvor in Bad Ems und sehr begeistert vom Häckers Hotel dort, leider war es nicht vergleichbar. Wir hätten uns mehr Ruhe gewünscht.
