Oh my word what a beautiful place! We have just spent a wonderful couple of hours on the terrace with the new manager David tasting some of the superb wines from the Stefan Prüm local vineyard. Having a sommelier share his knowledge of great wine and food , along with the fabulous views from the terrace made this a very special visit. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Bad Bertrich within a short walk of the beautiful thermal spa makes this the perfect location in the quiet spa town . A very special place to stay, and a wonderful alternative to the hustle and bustle of the towns on the busier Moselle. Can’t wait to come back and stay in the newly renovated rooms!

Super nice, cozy hotel in a quiet area within walking distance to most activities. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. Very clean. We loved the super comfy beds. Lots of great hiking, golfing and relaxation in the region. We’ll definitely be back!

Warm atmosphere in the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Also breakfast was nice. I liked the coffee in the morning breakfast. The parking space was large enough and there is a nice garden next to it so you can enjoy the view from the balcony

Under new management this year. A lot has already been renovated/modernized. Both the room and the restaurant and the terrace. The location is beautiful in a park and the terrace is by far the most beautiful in Bad Bertrich. Food (great breakfast) is great too. The partly covered parking spaces are a plus for bikers. All in all a clear recommendation and the best choice in Bad Bertrich.

It certainly couldn't get any worse. The offer on ********* already made me feel sick. When you book around 200 overnight stays a year, you get used to a lot. But this beats everything! I have a small dog with me, always. This dog, as is typical for the breed, has no fur. Here in this hotel, as you can read on *********, they want a deposit of €150.00 and €30.00 for the dog for one night, for a room that costs €72.00. Here are a few facts. There are no special cleaning products for a room that has had a dog in it. In over 25 years in the hotel and catering industry, I have never seen this product. Nor is there any special cleaning after a dog has been removed. In addition, we are still in the middle of Corona, are you trying to say that the room is only cleaned properly if there has been a dog in the room? Dog VS child: child costs nothing extra, child is loud, makes a mess and moves around. The damage that children cause is almost impossible to get rid of by the parents. Dog is quiet, obeys every word. Dogs are clean. Dogs are insured, the owner is always liable. One can only advise that a wide berth is the best option here.

Hotel Alte Mühle has had new owners since this spring. The young but very experienced owners David and Virginie are working hard. They are very experienced through their work in Dubai in the hotel and restaurant orphans. A lot has already been renovated and they will continue with this. The hotel is very clean and the SERVICE is capitalized. Very friendly people who are extremely helpful. Excellent spacious rooms, WIFI, beautiful balconies with a view of the park, good and large beds (2 x 2 meters) a nice restaurant and a cozy terrace where it is good to relax. We enjoyed and will definitely come back!
