Bereits bei der Reservierung des Tisches gab es eine eher unfreundliche Ansage. Das Essen ist an sich ist sehr lecker, aber eine Änderung von Beilagen kostet 2 Euro (!!) Aufpreis. Auch ein Nachschlag von Preiselbeeren (es war ein Klecks am Gericht) wurde mit 2 Euro (!) Aufpreis berechnet. Hier wäre in beiden Fällen ein Hinweis durch das Servicepersonal angebracht, sonst wundert man sich, wenn die Rechnung kommt. Vermutlich stand es irgendwo in der Karte, aber man achtet vielleicht nicht drauf, da es für ein Restaurant dieser Preisklasse (ist ja nicht ganz günstig) unüblich und auch preislich nicht angemessen (der Aufwand für beide Wünsche war sehr gering) ist. Als Vergleich: Ein Dessert fanden wir mit 5,90 Euro angemessen. Es entsteht der Eindruck, dass man hier nicht auf eine Kundenbindung setzen muss, da durch Reha- und Kurgäste ja immer neue Leute zum Essen kommen. Sehr schade: Wir empfehlen das Restaurant -trotz des guten Essens - daher nur bedingt. Wenn man keinen Wert auf das Gesamtpaket mit gutem Essen, passendem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gepaart mit gutem Service legt und zudem keine kostenpflichtigen Extrawünsche hat, kann man hier gut essen. Da das Gesamtpaket aus unserer Sicht leider nicht erfüllt wurde, geben wir nur 3 Punkte.

Tag 1: Umbestellung von gebackenen Klößen zu vogtländischen Klößen, Aufpreis € 2.00. Tag 2: Schweinelende war totgebraten, zäh und ungenießbar. Beim Kellner reklamiert, einzige Reaktion war ein Schulterzucken. Ich hätte zumindest eine Entschuldigung erwartet. Es kam nichts, sehr schade.

Wir waren als Familie zum Abendessen im Goldenen Anker. Wir hatten reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Alle vier Gerichte waren ansprechend angerichtet und sehr lecker. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Absoluter Zufallsfund in Bad Elster. Restaurant mit sehr guter deutsche Küche und der Saison angepasst. Die Küche verwendet sehr frische Produkte, selbst die Beilagensalate waren in einer super Qualität . Schneller und sehr aufmerksamer Service . Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ausgezeichnete klassische Küche (Spargel, Kalbsschnitzel, Zanderfilet), schneller Service, weiße Tischdecken, Stoffservietten - wir haben uns wieder einmal rundum wohl gefühlt zu einem guten Mittagessen im Goldenen Anker. Und das bei einem wirklich fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Tipp: An Wochenenden und Feiertagen unbedingt reservieren, da sehr nachgefragt.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen 7-tägigen Urlaub/Kuraufenthalt in Bad Elster. Untergebracht waren wir im Hotel Goldener Anker. Auf diesem Weg nochmals herzlichen Dank an die Familie Schneider, die diese erholsame Zeit erst ermöglicht hat: in diesem familienbetriebenen Hotel hat alles gestimmt, vom freundlichen Personal, dem Frühstücksservice, dem kleinen Zimmer mit Seeblick bis zu dem wirklich guten Restaurant mit bodenständiger deutscher Küche…Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir waren das erste mal im Goldenen Anker und schon beim hereinkommen absolut überzeugt. Liebevoll eingesteckte Tische, super nettes Personal und das Essen war hervorragend. Frisch, lecker, hausgemacht und ein absoluter Genuss. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch dort! Macht weiter so 👍🏼
