We booked a suite with a whirlpool and the "pampering half board". The room and the wellness area belonging to the hotel were very nice and are recommended! The dinner included in the "pampering half board" was a buffet that in no way met the standard of a 4-star+ level. All of the hot food was lukewarm, the plates ice cold, the vegetables seemed to have been tipped from a freezer bag into a defrosting device and from there went straight into carelessly arranged containers on the buffet. No spices, oil, etc. The beef fillet, which was freshly cut, was tough and also lukewarm. We complained and had the half-board package cancelled for us, then ordered immediately from the menu. After the meal we complained directly to reception. There we were told quite harshly: We should please write a corresponding review. - Very poor complaint management!! - The breakfast buffet was not 4-star standard either, but OK. There was very little cold cuts, cheese, etc., there was no salmon at all, and bacon for the scrambled eggs was apparently sold out ;-) It's a shame that this otherwise very nice hotel devalues itself with such a performance. Overall, I think the 4 stars+ in connection with the food, i.e. "pampering half board", is very exaggerated.
