Friendly reception, clean room, elevator (so no lugging suitcases up the stairs), swimming pool, a table for dinner was quickly made available. The service was very nice. The food was average (sauce for the specials from a packet?). Unfortunately, directly opposite on the other side of the street are the tables and benches of another restaurant that serves its guests until well after midnight. It was accordingly loud until the guests finally went home... Then another ten minutes of clattering of the dishes, then quiet. The hotel is absolutely recommended as a stopover on the onward journey to the south!

I am going to be a tad brutal here the room smelt of BO which was unpleasant but rectified with some deodorant. However we were not warned that building work was happening .Having driven from Italy I was breaking my journey halfway through Germany I was rather horrified to be woken up by drilling at 8 o’clock in the morning. If I had been warned about the noise I would have stayed somewhere else. Having said that that the beds are comfortable although the room was stuffy as no Aircon and the window/door only opened 4 cm they are clearly upgrading the hotel so hopefully that will improve matters. I did not eat so cannot comment on the food but I suspect it will be fine .

A lovely older hotel, great location in the centre of town! Had a car park so parking was very easy. A little bakery right next door! We had a large room with a small patio, great black out shutters! Large bathroom with great shower and bath! Quiet room! We had forgotten it had a pool, but what a great pool, our daughter loved it! Water was a little chilly but we stayed in for a good 2 hours!! There is a sauna there too! Restaurant was lovely, excellent service. Delicious food! We walked into the town after dinner and it was a lovely evening! Would definitely stay again if we were in this region.

I had some concerns beforehand because of the location right on the street, but as we had a room on the side with a view over the roofs to the vineyards, this was not a problem for us at night. The only time the traffic was a bit disturbing was when we were eating dinner on the terrace. The room was very large with a small balcony and a nice view, the bathroom was new and everything was very clean. The service was attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. I found the price-performance ratio for dinner a bit overambitious.

Beautiful, cozy hotel with great food and very friendly service. Parking on site and also handicapped accessible. Value for money OK. No problem with dogs either. Wine tastings in the area within walking distance, great wines. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant offers good food, but at a higher price level. The price/performance ratio is just about right. The hotel is OK, the normal rooms are relatively small but adequate. Our room was a bit older and still had one of the plastic sinks typical of hotels, which had already turned yellow. The water also didn't drain properly. This definitely needs some renovation. The shower was clean, but the silicone seals should be replaced. We also had a tiny balcony. Unfortunately, the floor of the balcony was very dirty with pigeon droppings. But the caretaker took care of it immediately after we reported it. There is only one disabled parking space, which seems a bit too few. The parking lot behind the hotel is relatively small and was almost completely full during our visit, so you had to park on the street or in a public parking lot.
