Romantik Hotel Kleber Post
4.4/518 Reviews
At first glance, a very well-kept house, no signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately, we ended up in a room that had apparently not been occupied for a long time and had not been checked before arrival. There were so many large dust flakes on the parquet floor that we had to call housekeeping. We spent the time being cleaned in the lobby lounge. The time between lunch and dinner seems to be an unfortunate one, as there are very few staff present and the waiting times are correspondingly long. After a further wait, I was not asked for a second drink, so I went looking for the service staff to sign the bill. The room was cleaned in the meantime. A look under the bed, however, confirmed my suspicion that only the obvious dust flakes on the walkways had been removed. The friendly and attentive service that we were able to enjoy at dinner deserves a positive mention. The staff impressed us with their professional and guest-oriented way of working. We felt very comfortable. The menu included seasonal and regional dishes. However, there was no declaration of additives. These were requested from the kitchen. The evening meal was of high quality and tasted very good. We also liked the wine selection. Breakfast was OK, egg dishes were requested and cold cuts were served. Access to a coffee machine would have been helpful, but that is a question of philosophy. The coffee service took a little too long for me, but I certainly have an above-average thirst for coffee in the mornings. All in all, the stay was OK, but nothing more.
Komforthotel-Restaurant Württemberger Hof
3.3/52 Reviews
Only hopeless optimists can call the “Hotel Württemberger Hof” in Bad Saulgau “comfort hotel”. It is an old building that has come into the years. We lived in the 3. Stock and our baggage had to carry the tight stairs, because there is no lift. The interior in the booked room was of the simplest quality. Where is there still steel pipe beds? In addition, the room was very tight and had only a roof window. The shower/WC had no air conditioning. The TV was a technically obsolete small screen. The hotel's added value is: cheap plastic tooth cup; shower gel in film and a small soap Considering the hotel's level, then the price paid is completely overpriced. The staff was friendly and breakfast was ok.
