A very unique hotel, the owner at the reception does not follow covid regulations, accepts that the o formation on the booking was wrong and tells if i dont want i should leave as he is the owner. On the way out literally tells me to f. myself... and super dirty facilities.

Rooms were comfortable and clean but very basic. Trip advisor states breakfast is free which is not the case. Check in was all automated which meant no one was available to ask about breakfast or anything else. There is no where at the hotel to get drinks or snacks outside breakfast hours. Good hotel to stop at if you literally need somewhere just to rest and aren't bothered about amenities or facilities.

I spent three days at the Hotel Häfner because I was visiting my wife at the Mikina opposite. When I got there, I got a free upgrade to a large double room, even though I had booked a single room. The staff is very hospitable and the breakfast was great 👍 A little tip from me: guests shouldn't be fooled by the many old pictures that are online here!

Simple but comfortable and very quiet hotel. Very easy check-in thanks to the room code system. Spacious comfort room, small but functional and clean bathroom. Very generous and varied breakfast. Only regret: the television which only shows German channels.

We were looking for a hotel with a wellness offer, but when we arrived we were shown nothing of the sort. Only after asking several times were we shown the new, very nice wellness area. Use time from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and that in a wellness hotel! The food was well cooked but very inexpensive ingredients were used (tongue, fish dumplings, wild boar neck), and the portions were rather small. It's a shame that seasonal products weren't used (e.g. asparagus, etc.). Finally, we were charged a surcharge for expensive food per day and person! What a disgrace! I'm curious to know on what basis this is based. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was rather small, with narrow beds. But the beds were comfortable. A shame considering the time we spent there. The area is very beautiful and has a lot of nature to offer.

We had booked a three-day stay with a voucher for a standard double room. The booking and check-in went smoothly. In the morning we received an SMS with the PIN code and were able to arrive at the hotel late in the evening. During our stay we visited the Thermarium thermal baths, the Body Worlds Museum in Heidelberg, Heidelberg Castle and went on a shopping trip. The breakfast was plentiful and we were able to park right in front of the hotel. The llamas and alpacas right next to the hotel were also a real eye-catcher 👍 Also worth mentioning is the hotel's homepage with great ideas for excursions. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

I can't recommend this hotel under ANY circumstances! I have never experienced such a disorganized team in my life! We were there for 2 nights. However, it was only prepared for one person, that is, one blanket, one towel, etc., even though I had reserved a double room and entered 2 names as guests, unbelievable! Then I had to get a blanket, box, etc. from another building myself! So disappointed! When I checked out, I was told: sorry, it was a human error! I still can't imagine the excuse!
