This was the first time ever (in 20+ years travelling) that I refused to stay at hotel. The hotel is shabby, tired and in need of refurbishment. We booked this hotel because it had a beautiful location and advertised a spa facility. We arrived and we’re told that there was no spa only a pool. We were given room 209, which was allegedly a superior room, this had tiny balcony, faced a brick wall and had no outdoor furniture. We immediately complained and asked to be moved to another room. No apologies from the lady on reception only telling us ‘we had not paid for a better room’. We were shown room 311 which is a suite with terrace but were told that we could only move for an additional €150 for two nights. This room looked better on first impression and we agreed to move. Once we moved our luggage, we discovered the room was not clean and had dead wood lice on the floor, stained bedcovers, stained sink, filthy terrace and a dirty fridge. At this point we decide to leave. We showed the lady at reception the photos we had taken but she really didn’t care and made no effort to apologise or put right the problems.

After experiencing the indoor pool for a short period of time I started to feel breathless and the heat became unbearable I had no option but to leave. 4 days after returning home I was hospitalised with a respiratory infection and I am still currently taking antibiotics for the problem. Any body else reading this had a similar experience.

The room size was great, the facilities likewise. The view - Bellisimo ;) The breakfast... italian - (Cake, with more cake and coffee.) The staff, great on italian, not so much english. The terme, was like a small inside pool.

Sergio is THE BEST MANAGER, always going the extra mile. The waiting staff were highly professional and the maid service was exemplary. The facilities are of a good standard and not overcrowded even in high season.

The area was famed by royals and the elite already in early 19th century. And it is truly beautiful.. stunning setting, and very tranquil. Covid has been very brutal to this part of the world so hospitality and smiles are both plentiful. The hotel is simple luxury. Do not expect the excess of city hotels but be indulged by the scenery. Menu is limited but what they do is perfectly fine. You will feel in complete balance and not least relaxed after a dip in the indoor thermal pool, where you may also enjoy drinks or coffee on the very neat poolside . You WILL enjoy it!

Nice hotel with thermal pool, too bad the municipal thermal baths were closed (May 2022). Hillside location overlooking the wild valley. Modern and efficient structure, excellent breakfast and staff attentive to customer needs.

Non ci siamo proprio, ne come organizzazione e nemmeno come pulizie. Il titolare è un fenomeno d altri tempi. La colazione che da booking non veniva fornita poi è stata fornita senza alcun supplemento generando caos nel gruppo con amici che erano già andati a fare colazione in paese dove la colazione l hanno dovuta pagare. Al termine della cena con garbo ci ha cacciati dalla sala del ristorante perchè doveva sgombrare il tavolo.
