Mr. Bean Holiday is a warm and comfortable homestay located in Semporna, Sabah. It is about an hour from Tawau Airport and about 15-minutes drive from Semporna town and boat jetty. We have a free shuttle to and from boat jetty everyday. We can arrange island hopping trip based on your needs. Our room is designed to provide you with a comfortable, clean and safe stay. For leisure time, you may stop by at our lobby or bar for music and drink a cup of tea or wine, or you may also relax at the balcony, or enjoy the swimming pool and sun bath. I traveled to Semporna a month ago. The hotel booked by the travel agency was in the town. The reviews were very bad, so I paid the penalty and returned it. I can't let myself be wronged for food and accommodation when I go out to play. I chose a newly opened homestay. The owner is very nice. The guest rooms are clean and tidy. Due to design problems, there is no TV in the guest room. There is a shuttle bus to the town. The driver is very enthusiastic and always takes the initiative to contact us to remind the time. There is a small commercial street and supermarket outside the hotel, with all kinds of food and drinks. Because I had to catch a night flight on the last day, the owner specially moved me to live upstairs, which was very quiet.

Our Chinese villa area, Taman Mutiara (Taman Mutiara), located in the center of the town, is a great place to get some peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. Each room has an independent bathroom, 24-hour hot water, all-weather air conditioning, toiletries, hair dryer, electric tea kettle, bedside USB socket, and 100M fiber optic WIFI. Laundry equipment and a 300-square-meter shared restaurant kitchen are available for free use (you can cook your own seafood for a party). There is also a large leisure space for public activities, where you can make tea, drink coffee, read books and newspapers, play mahjong (fully automatic mahjong table), and watch movies on a 100-inch projector. The town of Semporna is very small. We are backed by the sea (Government Pier), 300 meters away from the town center mosque, 400 meters away from KFC, 600 meters away from Watsons, and 300 meters away from the bank. Within 5 minutes of walking to the city center, there are 3 piers behind the Semporna Government Pier. The farthest pier is a 20-minute walk. You can use these few minutes to visit Malay shops\markets\Semporna Football Stadium\Chinese Try local delicacies in tea restaurants and experience the culture and local life here.
