Canavida is Pure Magic! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The view? Absolutely Unreal-lush jungle, rolling mountains,and a 180-degree ocean panorama. Every morning, we woke up to howler monkeys,toucans, and sometimes even sloths right outside in a tree next to our villa! The wildlife here is incredible, and every moment felt like a dream. The Villas are luxurious, spotless, and perfectly designed to blend with nature. Waking up to the ocean breeze and the sounds of the jungle was Pure Serenity. Our private pool overlooked the most stunning scenery, and every detail in the resort was meticulously maintained. Beyond the beauty, the adventures were next level. We explored hidden waterfalls, hiked through untouched jungle, and took guided night tours where we saw glowing insects and rare wildlife, Whether it was zip-lining, surfing, or simply relaxing with a drink in hand , every experience was Unforgettable. And the host? Absolutely Phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure we had the best experience possible. They arranged incredible tours, recommended secret spots, and made us feel truly at home. Canavida is the perfect mix of Luxury Adventure, and pure peace. If You're looking for a place to reconnect with nature, recharge, and experience COSTA RICA at its finest, this is it. A TRUE PARADISE.

Heavenly. We had reservations for 2 nights at Canavida but we ended up staying for 4 nights. We didn’t want to leave. Supportive and highly visible owner lives on site. We had Condo #6. It has two bedrooms, each with their own air conditioning unit and full en-suite bathroom. A large living/dining kitchen area featuring a flat screen tv, beautiful locally made dining room table and chairs and gorgeous, crafted kitchen cabinets. Fully equipped with kitchen ware, glasses, refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, outdoor grill and seating area overlooking the infinity pool and ocean. Volleyball, trampoline, beautiful pool with shaded seating. We had a perfect view of the whale tail from the property. We saw toucans, parrots, monkeys and more just feet outside our back door. Heads up: The road up to Canavida is a tough one. Many pot holes and rocks. We had an All Wheel Drive SUV but we know a 4 Wheel Drive would be better. Canavida’s listings let you know that up front. Just know that if your child is peacefully sleeping in the backseat when you head up to Canavida, the kid will be wide awake and tossed around by the time you get there. The ride is worth it, though, because it takes you to the most beautiful and welcoming place.

We were lucky to rent a condo in Canavida resort. Beautiful natural setting high in the mountings, lots of wild life around, breathtaking ocean view, fresh air, comfortable temperature, modern buildings, plentiful amenities, great host, ... The list could go on and on. We had a good time with our family there and would love to come back some time in the future.

Canavida is incredible. Located on the side of a mountain overlooking the ocean and the Whale Tail at Uvita’s Marino Ballena National Part you are surrounded by tranquility and some pretty amazing wildlife. Even better, you are just a short drive away from the heart of downtown Uvita and very close to a great supermarket. The kitchen of the two units I stayed in over the course of two weeks were fully stocked with the essentials and new appliances. The poolside grill was in excellent working condition and was put to good use, repeatedly. The cottages are all in exceptional condition and were exactly as advertised. Additionally, the grounds were in great shape and the staff was super friendly, professional and very welcoming. The optional laundry service also came in very handy. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to check out multiple species of exotic birds, monkeys, frogs, butterflies and so much more while also enjoying a pristine plunge pool all while catching life changing sunset views. The place is only 6 km from the main road right next to a all restaurants and supermarkets, but it seems like you are in the pure jungle with 180 degrees views of the oceans. we lived with many toucans and macaws, we even saw a coati. Jessica and Alberto were so helpful and always on site to answer any needs or questions. Canavida have many amazing tours we went whale watching and we saw a mother and her offspring. I truly recommend the place it is by far my favourite in this trip.
