This place is heaven. This is the second time we’ve been - we also went in April 2024. The whole property is so well thought out, immaculate and gorgeous, I would walk around being like “is this place real?” The beach is spectacular, perfect water for swimming and just for the hotel. Pools are wonderful too. The staff and overall service is incredible. From the staff on the beach to the people in the restaurants and also the cuates who text you for any requests everyday. When we booked our trip they asked if it was a special occasion and we said it was our baby moon. They then asked if we knew what we were having and we told them it’s a girl. Well they did a bunch of special things for us on the trip for our baby moon and baby girl it was pretty amazing. One of the really nice touches was that they put a pregnancy pillow on the bed for me at turn down service! I was like whoa this is really a thoughtful touch. And it really did help me sleep better. Like wow. They also gave us a little plate of baby themed cookies, one night at dinner surprised us with a dessert and mocktail and champagne and then one day put a bunch of balloons in our room and a beautiful Mexican toy for her. So impressed. Also, the food all over the property is fantastic. We decided just to eat all our meals there. And the spa and gym are top notch too, of course. They also did this festive viewing party for the Super Bowl which was really fun. My husband is a pretty big football fan and we didn’t realize we’d booked our trip to start on Super Bowl Sunday and then he was like this is the best viewing situation I’ve ever experienced! Right along the beach. We hope to come back very soon!

This resort feels very relaxed and uncrowded. Buildings are no more than three stories in height, and the lush foliage help hide them. Service is excellent, and the beach is private and very pleasant. Three pool choices for where to swim and two hot spas, one with an adjacent cold plunge pool. Restaurant food is very very good, although expensive due to this resort being remote. Going into the nearest town of Bucerias 10 miles away is expensive if you make use of the resort transportation, but it is convenient. We had a studio with ocean view and it was the largest studio I've stayed in in a hotel / resort; it did not feel cramped at all. The bathroom and vanity areas were very spacious. The patio deck (we were on the second floor) was also quite large and had a bed lounge as well as an upholstered chair and ottoman. The TV had only one volume setting, so you did not have to worry about your TV being too loud, nor worry about hearing anybody else's. Room service and maid service were excellent as well. My wife and I spent six nights and only left the resort one time because it was so nice there.

Stunning resort. Exceptional service and attention to detail. Fabulous on site restaurants and food and beverage options. Lovely spa. Everything about the resort is top-notch. We have stayed at 5 star resorts in every continent and this is one of the best. We don’t typically return to the same resort as we like to experience new places but this is a resort we will come back to.

Truly the nicest resort I have been to in a very, very long time. Susurros is the opposite of the monster all-inclusive. This low profile, exclusive resort features spectacular natural surroundings, abundant marine wildlife, and a beautiful, clean beach. Add to that outstanding service, gorgeous rooms/residences, multiple pools, top-notch food and a blissful spa and there is not much not to like! This is a surf beach, which is a joy for surfers and aspiring surfers, but not always good for swimming for the little ones. Depending on the day, the waves can be strong...not Hawaii north shore strong by any means, but too strong for young children. For families and extended families, the Residences offer fully equipped kitchens with all the amenities, as well as the most spectacular views. We enjoyed sitting on our deck each day watching the migrating whales showing off in the bay. We will be back.
