Hotel Punta Est

We were given a lovely Family Suite (well, after a standard room wasn't made up) - the only problem was I booked a Deluxe Suite. We were led to believe it was the right room. After discovering it wasn't the reception (since the manager was nowhere to be found) started telling numerous different stories: the room is closed for the season, your booking agent made a mistake, it's the same size and price (it's not), there's nothing they can do (this for a 4* hotel), ...and the latest is that the booking agent only told them at the last minute to give us the Deluxe Suite - I got an email reply from the hotel confirming the Deluxe Suite weeks before. The booking agent rang them and they were told that we were in the Deluxe Suite! Furthermore the aircon didn't work, Alexa only spoke German, the room wasn't service on our 2nd day and the breakfast was lackluster. Is complete honesty/clarity not valued anymore? Unfortunately since they weren't forthcoming from the start I couldn't trust anything subsequently. Maybe it was the booking agent's error but then it should have been between the hotel and them - not the client. All the disappointment was a direct result of the reception not being upfront from the start.

Undoubtedly the best hotel we stayed in Italy! Large room, exceptional cleaning service and attentive and efficient staff. Not to mention that everything is new and works perfectly, unlike the vast majority of hotels in Italy. I recommend it without thinking twice!

HORRIBLE. DISGUSTING. No AC in the rooms and broken showers that flood everywhere. The sheets are dirty and gave me a rash all over my body. The receptionists don’t help at all and are extremely rude. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Do not come here.

We loved the stay here♥️ Everyone is welcoming, and the hotel is very nice with a great breakfast area and swimming pool. Close to the beach and restaurants. No need for rental car. We used the buss, taxi and walked a lot. Nice hiking trips in the area and you can find yourself smal beaches all by yourself 🇮🇹

The location of the hotel is very good, in the center of the lovely Baja Sardinia. However, this hotel did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, the restaurant food was quite bad, our room was not very clean and the bathroom dated. Also, they should improve their customer service!

Extraordinary position, few steps from a gorgeous beach, great service and atmosphere. We loved the independent dependance with a private garden, terrace and very well-organized internal space. Perfect solution for a family, you just cross the street and all hotel services are easily available (and strongly suggested). Very good breakfast and quality dinner, the staff is always available to make your stay even better and to address you to the best activities, beaches, restaurants and tourist attraction. I strongly recommend as an outdoor experience the catamaran service they can directly arrange; probably one of the best way to discover the Maddalena Islands and hidden beaches, thanks to a very professional and experienced staff caring about both your enjoyment and full safety. Definitely a great place to stay in when visiting Costa Smeralda.
