This hotel is as well located and less expensive than its neighbors, with direct access to the beach. Bright and colorful neighborhood at the cape of this picturesque city of Bakau, where the population of the sand streets lives outside, and smiles spontaneously at strangers. A studied composition of small apartments around a swimming pool and its palm trees. In the rooms, nice wooden furniture. The water could be faster, and the wi-fi warmer, or maybe the opposite. The bathrooms are not new, but efficient. The clientele is sometimes danish , and polite. The hotel has its energy autonomy, so we are not subject to power cuts that often plunge the neighboring guest-Houses into darkness. In addition, a nice surprise, we can sleep. No dogs barking ate night. And far from the mosques, we are not woken up at dawn by calls. We feel good there, and we are welcomed with a smile. Nice housekeepers. The young receptionists are devoted, friendly and responsive, like Ara - and Amy, who found me a good taxi for 2am. They are nice, so we came back to say hello to them for fun, even we had left the hotel days before.

Sorry to say but a very poor hotel. The pool didn't seem very clean and the staff lacked any enthusiasm. Needs some serious attention. Would not recommend it although Cape Point is a nice place. There's some nice bars and restaurants locally

The service is absolutely amazing and I love it, I will always recommend them. I will request all the relatives to come here. The use of staff was once very good. The service was excellent I am very proud to have received the service from their tree. I would really recommend them as always.

Didn’t stay here but came next door from ocean bay for a pizza. Was great and reasonably priced, as was the beer. Can’t really comment on the hotel but it seemed really quiet and the pool was tiny. I’m not however marking them on this as we didn’t stay there.

I stayed several years running, some years ago and had a soft spot for the Cape Point Hotel and for old-times sake and the attraction of a walk-in pool (I'm elderly now) I booked a week, direct as I knew someone locally to go in on my behalf as my enquiry through the hotel's website didn't get a reply! Unfortunately there were very few guests in Match and the restaurant was closed except for breakfast, cooked, which was very nicely served in style. However the room itself was dusty, the bathroom was somewhat shabby and with only a little shelf and no cabinet for toiletries - Heavens help a couple staying! Worst of all for me was I found the tiled and otherwise inviting pool desperately slippery underfoot when walking out and, I thought, too potentially hazardous for an elderly like me. After two nights I relocated. This still charming small hotel in a great location deserves a fresh and ambitious management to invigorate its prospects and lift the standard to what it was, and find a fix for that pool.
