I had a fantastic stay at Maajid Hotel Baku. The hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. Located in the heart of Baku’s Old City, it offers easy access to historical landmarks while providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. My room was clean, well-furnished, and had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The breakfast selection was excellent, with fresh and delicious options to start the day right. What truly stood out was the warm and personalized service. The team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, offering great recommendations for exploring the city. If you’re looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay in Baku, Maajid Hotel is an excellent choice. I’ll definitely return on my next visit!

First thing, the location is too far away from the center. The hotel keeps telling you it’s only 10 mins walk, but it’s actually 20-25mins. The closest supermarket Spar is 1.2km away, walking time about 18-20 mins since the roads are super hard to cross without pedestrian lines and traffic lights.  Second, the house keeping of this hotel is a bit lazy, the coffee cup I have used in the first morning hasn’t been cleaned and I had to clean it myself to use it on the second day. The used towels were just taken away but no fresh replacement provided. The most outrageous thing is that they only gave us a duvet COVER for one of the beds, so one of us was freezing cold in the middle of the night and had to call housekeeping for a second duvet.  All in all, not to recommend for people who wants to explore the city.

The hotel is located in the old part of the city, next to the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the Maiden Tower. Easy to get there on foot and find. The room is clean, the towels are snow-white, there is tea, water, a kettle in the room. Hygiene products in the bathroom: shampoo, shower gel, toothbrushes - everything is there. The floors are warm, we even turned down the temperature of the batteries and opened the window (November) it was so warm in the room. Very attentive and responsive staff, they suggested a restaurant where to eat. Once we came to breakfast at the very end, and Aitan cooked us a separate omelet in addition to the common dishes. It was very nice.

Pros: good location, decent breakfast, attentive staff Cons: we got a room on the 6th floor with a view ”of the city”. In fact, the view was of the roof and the ventilation of the courtyard. The ventilation was very noisy and prevented us from sleeping even with the windows closed. The room itself was ”tired” and needed renovation

We were in Baku for the first time. I booked the hotel based on reviews and I was right! The vacation was great. The hotel is located in a great place in the pedestrian area, next to the old town, close to the Maiden Tower. The perfect combination of price and location. We booked a room with a window, without a balcony, the view was on the street ”Vainera” where there are cafes and a pedestrian area, it is very convenient to go out onto the street and immediately any restaurant for every taste. The rooms are interesting, the ceilings are high, the interior is original.

An unusual hotel is located in a house where there are restaurants and clubs on the ground floor, a rather noisy place, but at the same time everything is at hand - a store, a bank, a cafe, music. Good and friendly staff, we know Russian, ready to help with all questions, the room is clean, has everything you need, a good shower, but the mattress and pillows are not comfortable, overall a good budget option.

Very, very enthusiastic 2 The room is large and has a balcony to enjoy the night view. It's very clean, just look at the bathroom. Cleaning really carefully. 3 Location Old Town 4 The breakfast restaurant is beautiful The price is very good and the environment is first-class. Really recommend it to everyone. You'll love it. A fairy-level hotel. The people of Azerbaijan are particularly warm and kind.

Amazing hotel: location on the embankment with a view of the sea and the lights of night Baku, clean and modern hotel, excellent food, on the top floor of the building there is a panoramic bar that rotates - it's amazing!) Also a beautiful gym with a view of the sea, a cozy pool. We are delighted!)

The service was not the best when we arrived. The receptionists took their time to assist us and when we finally were given keys, they just pointed to the lift and left us. The hotel room was quite outdated with a broken leaky fridge and a bulky TV. However, the balcony was quite nice and the view was amazing. The food was really good and it was plentiful.
