Lua Resort - Adults Only

We returned to Lua Resort for the third time – always for five days – and we still absolutely love it! The room is comfortable and sparkling clean, the hotel itself is stunning and beautifully designed. The wellness area is fantastic: modern, well-equipped, with every feature you could wish for in the pools and saunas – pure relaxation. The food is simply world-class – every dish is amazing, truly a culinary experience! 🍽️ The staff are exceptionally kind and professional – every interaction is a pleasure. Cserne creates brilliant, creative cocktails, Doroti’s smile brightens up dinner, and the breakfast team (especially the blonde and the brown curly-haired ladies) are just adorable even early in the morning. Botond at the reception was especially helpful, but everyone greets you with warmth and a genuine smile. Housekeeping is precise, caring and attentive – you can really feel that everyone here puts their heart into what they do. All in all, a perfect stay again – we’ll definitely be back! 💙

Location
 The hotel is situated directly on the lake. However, due to the building’s orientation, most rooms face either the parking lot or the courtyard with a second hotel building. Only the more expensive rooms at the front offer an unobstructed lake view – though with balcony saunas that come with a free view from below. Rooms
 Small, clean, but with limited storage space. Housekeeping operates on a random system: sometimes you get water, sometimes not; sometimes the trash is emptied, sometimes not. Each room does, however, have a balcony with a mosquito screen door and seating. Restaurant & Breakfast
 Dinner is of good quality, but the selection is limited. Vegetarians need patience – and perhaps a sense of humor – as variety is scarce. Half board becomes monotonous quickly; even dessert is reduced to the same three options every evening. Wine service can lack expertise, and a request for a local wine may result in an expensive and ill-suited recommendation. Breakfast is solid, but again, identical every day. Wellness & Lakefront
 The wellness area with pool, jacuzzi, and saunas is pleasant, but quickly becomes loud and crowded when the hotel is full. The lakeside lawn offers plenty of loungers and shaded spots, but cleanliness and upkeep could be more consistent. Conclusion
 The property has potential, but currently falls short of true five-star standards. Suitable for a few relaxing days in the off-season – but in high season more stressful than luxurious. Half board is not recommended.

The hotel is beautiful and has a calm vibe. Everywhere is spotless and classy. Let’s start with the great. We had a room on the third floor. The beds are super comfortable and the suite is spacious with a well stocked mini bar, there is a tv with a personalized welcome card on the screen and there is a nice terrace with soft chairs and a table.The bathroom although smallish is adequate with nice toiletries, bath robes and a rainfall shower. Generally the food is superb with a wide variety of choice. The facilities are very nice. We liked the spa and the jacuzzi. Now the not so great. Generally the quality of the food is good with the exception of not offering pancakes for breakfast although having as an empoyee a chef that makes only omelettes?! The room was kept beautifully however there seemed to be no pattern to cleaning timings. The spa area is gorgeous with lovely beds however they seem to get hosed down in the morning which makes them rather damp to lie on until they dry out. One morning, we came back from breakfast to find a note on our bed that informed us of spa area redecoration that day. It was our last day and we planned to spend the whole day in the spa area. The thing is that just the day before we went to a whole day excursion. If we knew earlier, we would have swiched our plans, but the hotel management decided to upgrade us to a suite with a small sauna. Overall staff and the hotel were lovely and we would definitely consider staying here again.

This was our second visit. This time unfortunately the quality of the hotel was way too far as our first visit. Pro: - location -elegant ambiance -quality of the dinner - spacious room - Nespresso machine in the room Con: - Molton &Brown toiletries are not provided any more as it is in the confirmation of booking and as it is advertized on the website . They replaced them with cheap noname toiletries. - we were not offered welcome drink

Resort is amazing. Perfect adult sanctuary. Staff and amenities were terrific. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Michelin star!!! Shoutout to Jennifer for being sooo helpful and welcoming at the front desk. Food is amazing. Robert was our waiter and was a great experience. Highly recommend this stay. Sad to leave!!!

Really friendly and professional atmosphere. We spent 3 really relaxing nights here with my fiance. The noon restaurant was amazing, the dinner menu gave us a really great ,,gourmet” experience, the tastes was amazing and interesting! We surely will come back here! It’s a new favourite for us in Hungary!😊
