Balatonfured Hotels with Pools

It is a place where guests can feel comfortable. Beautiful family hotel with a large private beach right next to the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff, everyone at the reception is very attentive, Monika helped me a lot with all my questions! The rooms are renovated, modern and air-conditioned. The food is more than adequate. The cakes and desserts are excellent! The all-inclusive service was generous, all three meals were served buffet style in the hotel's dining room. The hotel was very clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The family vacation went very well, which is also thanks to the hotel. We'll be back next year!

This a very good hotel , even for families, to visit Balaton lake. It has a bog private parking outside in the front, a big yard in the back and a lot of facilities for kids. Indoor and outdoor pool available. They are not big, but plenty of space for both kids and adults. There is also a beachfront on the lake with access through the yard, where you can benefit of hotel coverage. Rooms are rather the small type with minimalistic furnishing. There is a balcony with chairs and table so you can extend your time on the fresh air. Hotel is part of the Danubius chain.

Breakfast is relatively rich. After all, it is a small hotel. It is hard to be like a domestic 4-5 star hotel. It is good for this country and city. There is a square at the main entrance, and you can walk to the river in a few minutes. This is an old hotel that was remodeled later. Every room you stayed in is actually different, big and small, and which one is assigned to pure metaphysics! The rest is the same anyway. Hungarian resort hotels are almost the same. The bed is a big bed made of two small beds...like all Hungarian hotels without toothbrushes. Because parking is free during the epidemic now

It was a very nice and lovely stay, the personal there is really helpful, each and every questions and types of guest they are able to handle. All the meals were just beyond our expectations thanks for the chef. The professionalism of the director and the food and beverage manager makes this place attractive, their job are definitely outstanding. By the way there are some happy hour in the lobby when you are served cocktails 50% off, which is nice. The rooms are cozy and clean, and the wellness is just big enough to recharge your batteries. The hotel is in the near vicinity of the Lake Balaton, so there is no a reprehensible thing. Nice job Hotel Aura Balatonfüred.

From the photos and location this hotel really looks the business. Please don’t be fooled like we where. I pride myself on being an adept researcher and avid traveller. I stay in 5* hotels, air bnb’s, and everything inbetween. This hotel though takes the cake!!! I should have known by the checkin experience something was a miss.... the grumpiest checkin person ever, probably not suited for customer facing posts. We arrived for our 2pm checkin early, asked if we could use the facilities (pool) whilst we waited for our room to become available, to which they obliged. However they informed us our room wouldn’t be available until 3:30pm because it was busy season and they hadn’t cleaned all the rooms yet. It was then up to me the customer to pull out my booking form which clearly states 2pm checkin with two tired kids in tow. I had emailed our children’s dietary requirements in advance as to make the process go smoothly. I can’t stress how under provided for they where - let’s just say gluten free bread was their main meal (and due to incomprehensible labelling system, we almost got sick!) usually hotels b&b’s etc. prepare a simple meal of say grilled chicken, rice and vegetables on an individual plate - the really good ones talk to me when we arrive and ask about the preferences etc. because of the risk of cross contamination on a buffet - these guys didn’t have a CLUE!!! Not to mention oh yes you guessed it some more gluten free bread for pudding 🤮 On our second day we went out all morning exploring hoping to come back to a freshly made up room by 2pm, but not, no sign of housekeeping at all, never mind the request we’d put in for replacement lightbulbs (3 lamps where missing bulbs 3!!!!!) we asked at 2pm if housekeeping could sort out our room - we where rudely told that new checkin rooms got priority and we had to wait and be patient. We finally got our room serviced at 6pm!!!! Oh and no new bulbs 💡 Day 3 up early again, appalling breakfast - very little assistance (thankfully there where fruit and vegetable options) asked for room to be cleaned at 9am, also asked for bulbs to be changed. Return back at 1pm -

We stayed in 2 twin rooms with the family and enjoyed our stay. The waiting staff were amazing, we asked for an ice bucket with glasses and they ran it up to our room in no time. Good value for money £80 for 2 twin rooms for 1 night with breakfast and wellness suite access(comfy loungers, decent sauna, steam room and infra red sauna, jacuzzi,50 m swimming pool). Breakfast had a good selection and was very tasty. The rooms and bathrooms were tidy and had a new feel though bathroom lacks ventilation. Things to mention: We missed our chance to enter the swimming pool and spa on Sunday as it's last entry at 5pm and close at 6pm. You are also required a swimming hat to use the 50 m swimming pool. None of these are mentioned on the website or in the booking confirmation. 2 iker ágyas szobában szálltunk meg a családdal és jól éreztük magunkat. A kiszolgálás nagyszerű volt, kértünk jégvödröt illetve pezsgős poharakat és pár perc alatt felhoztak a szobába. Az ár érték arány is nagyon jó 2 iker ágyas szoba reggelivel és wellness/50 m úszómedence(kényelmes nyugágyak, rendes szauna, gőz kabin, infra szauna) hozzáféréssel 1 ejszakara 30 e Ft. A reggeli bőséges és finom nagy választékkal. A szoba illetve fürdőszoba tiszta és újszerű bár ventilátor nincs a fürdő szobában. Említésre méltó azonban hogy az úszómedencét és a welllnesst nem tudtuk használni mivel Vasárnap 5 óráig van belépés és 6 kor zár. 5 òra 5 perckor érkeztünk és nem engedtek be mert a kassza?(inkluzív) bezárt, úszosapkat is vinni kell ha úszni támad kedve! A fentiek nincsenek megemlítve sem a weboldalon sem a visszaigazoló e mailben pedig jó lenne tudni hogy ne a helyszínen szembesüljön vele az ember.

Es war ein schöner Urlaub. Man sollte vielleicht erwähnen, dass das WLAN kostenpflichtig ist und mit ca. 18 Euro für 2 Wochen etwas zu teuer.
