Accessibility Nightmare! On arrival the lady on reception was fine at first. We were taken to our room and had to walk up over seventy five vertices steps. Up a mountain! The room was tiny and only had two beds and a concrete sofa. We were three adults , parents and son. So we had to drag the cases back down the steps, and back to reception and it nearly killed us! I then had to argue with receptionist to get a three bed room! She was reluctant and kept saying this is what you booked Mountain View ?? They eventually sorted it out and we were given another room at Sophia, another part of the hotel down the road. Luckily a staff member helped with cases and got a car to drive us part way. Another 55 steps later we were beat. The new room was satisfactory although not ready, no linen and no cups etc, but at least we had a room and the view was stunning! The best was yet to come! The restaurant was grubby and far too small for the 10000 guests. Stairs to get anywhere. Two sets for restaurant and up again for seating. Not enough seating. The walkways were dirty and the steps cause spills, which are not cleaned up and become dangerous! The food was ok but lack of choice and a fight to get anything as it runs out. Soo busy! Snack bars poor, a dry meat sandwich and cake. Nothing else! We are not normally complainers, but this was sooo bad! I just say avoid staying here. We loved Bali as a resort but this hotel needs to do a lot better! There are luckily loads of great restaurants around and the street food stall down the road was outstanding! Plenty to do and fabulous beaches all around! Don’t stay here book elsewhere!!

Just awful ! We arrived on the Thurs evening at 1030 pm and on arrival the lady on reception pulled faces but asked us to wait , grab something to eat & drink while she sorted a room. We were then asked to walk over one hundred steps to a room that literally had no electricity and had water coming from an external wall ! We then dragged the cases back down the steps ( thankfully we are in our fifties but fit and healthy ), then we were advised to wait while they sorted it out & over an hour later we were driven to a different hotel in the hills with no advice over how long we would be staying there !! The hotel was very nice but not in the location we had selected having been to Bali before ! The next morning we asked at reception what was happening & they said they would drive us back and the ‘best ‘ room would be ready ! When we arrived we were asked to wait & we were then asked to follow to a room up several flights of states , when we got there the room was disgusting & hadn’t been cleaned !!! I’ve uploaded pictures ! We complained , went back down the hill again with luggage & were then allocated another room so back up one 110 steps with our luggage ! The room was satisfactory although the bathroom grubby but at last we had a room !! The restaurant is grubby but we ate out most of the time are the walkways are dirty and it really just lacks care , the walkways are left we by the cleaners with no signs so it’s dangerous ! We are not complainers I promise so please do avoid staying here , we love Bali but this hotel needs to sort itself out as that really did make the first couple of days of our holiday very stressful

Lots of steps but beach and beach bar is excellent especially Suleman. He’s your man 👍🏻 Great location with plenty of tavernas to eat at so I wouldn’t bother going all inclusive . Value for money to eat out and people are genuinely friendly will be coming back .

Me and my family had a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, especially the ladies at the reception who were always helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes. What made the biggest impression on me was the breathtaking view from the terrace — a perfect combination of the sea and mountains. It was truly unforgettable!

We arrived late evening to be checked in by a disinterested and unwelcoming receptionist who kindly carried our case the 105 steep steps to our room. (I booked the "Mountain View" room but didn't realise it was halfway UP a mountain)! This was after he offered us some leftover food in a drab and dated dining room, reminiscent of a 1970's school canteen. It was not until the following morning that the full horror of the bathroom became apparent. We shared the shower with many different cultures ie, mould, grime, slime and dirt. It was impossible to contain the water in the shower so you had to step out into an inch of urine stinking water. Having worked in the catering profession for very many years I'm reluctant to criticise because I know what the challenges are but the food on offer was poor, with little observance to food safety measures. The"hot" food was displayed and held at an unsafe, lukewarm temperature for the duration of service. I noticed some foods appeared the next day in different guises which is also an absolute No No! Having selected from the buffet we opted to sit outside where the view across the bay was beautiful. Once finished, guests were expected to clear their own table and scrape plates etc. (again, taking me back to my schooldays)! while "waiters" stood around in groups or stood looking at their phones. The walkways and thoroughfares between the dining areas were dirty and scruffy. Then, alas by day three, my husband could not move after a night of diarrhoea and vomiting. So I decided enough was enough and found alternative accommodation which was beautiful, but at an extra expense of 350 EUR for the remainder of our holiday. Quite honestly, I would have paid 1000 EUR to get out of that filthy dump. The over all standard of this "hotel" was very bad with overflowing bins & rubbish sacks, and plant pots stuffed with litter and fag ends. There was no sense of pride and a total disregard to guests. Please don't be fooled by the beautiful photographs like we were.
