Great Stay We had a great time at Element Ubud. The staff were super friendly and helpful, though some could improve their English a bit. Big shoutout to William at breakfast, he was super attentive, spoke great English, and totally got what we needed and more.

My stay at The Kenran in Ubud was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel at home. The reception team was incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process and always ready to assist with any requests. The restaurant staff were equally outstanding, providing impeccable service with genuine hospitality. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making dining a truly enjoyable experience. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. But the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view—waking up to the lush greenery and serene surroundings was an unforgettable experience. Every staff member we encountered, from housekeeping to the concierge, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction truly set The Kenran apart. If you’re looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape in Ubud, I highly recommend The Kenran. I can’t wait to return!

I will start by saying that the hotel seems to have 4 valley villas, and they do not all look like the pictures. The size of the pool and view from it depends on which room you are assigned. I was given a room on the lower level and was very disappointed by the view and the amount of bugs in the room, including dead bugs all around the bathtub and even in my bed. They were full that night so I had to stay in that room, but the next day someone checked out and I was able to move to a higher level room. This room was much better; the pool was much larger, had a more panoramic view and the room had a lot less bugs (though still some, as well as lizards in the ceiling). So just be aware of the inconsistencies across the same tier rooms (I wasn’t upgraded, just moved to a different valley villa, and the difference was astounding). The service at the hotel was excellent; they were very eager to make sure I enjoyed my stay, and as an apology for my earlier disappointment and the inconvenience of changing rooms they gave me a free floating breakfast, free hour massage, free flower bath and free minibar. This was above and beyond what I expected, and I was very impressed with the hospitality. The location for me was great as I had already seen everything in Ubud, I had come to this hotel to stay in the resort and enjoy the jungle. It may be an inconvenient location if you are wanting to explore the downtown area. The spa was a very relaxing experience, with very warm and welcoming staff. My butler Dewa was also amazing, ensuring I was satisfied throughout my stay. I would stay here again, but would make sure to request room 902.

Location is out of the common tourist area in Bali, being right across Bali Safari. It is about 15 minutes away from Sunsri Jewelry House and Bali Bird Park, which were our fave destination. Black sand beach has strong wave so it isnt for leisure. You can only see but you shouldnt go there to play. We had a great stay, thanks to the friendly resto team (there is only 1 resto) and the lovely breakfast (you can order waffle or pancake, which isnt displayed in buffet spread) They are rebranding, recently managed by iHG. Still have renovation ongoing. Room smell a bit moldy due to the wooden bathroom door, hopefully they will replace & solve that soon.

Very good hotel in Ubud with decent pricing. Breakfast has good spread with friendly service. Front desk is also very helpful. Room and overall hotel is a bit dated but is kept clean. Love the balcony overlooking the river. Location is a bit far from Ubud center, but they offer 1-way shuttle from the hotel.

We stayed with our 4-year-old daughter on Christmas Eve. The location, hospitality, cleanliness, design, and facilities were all wonderful. It was a wonderful Christmas memory. We had both dinner and breakfast as a buffet. It's convenient when you have small children because you can choose the menu and the amount. The Christmas dessert was so cute!! There was a surprise appearance by Santa Claus. The taste was not impressive. The next day, after checking out, we played in the kids' room and my daughter participated in the Christmas activities. After that, they left our luggage for us to go sightseeing in Ubud and we used the shuttle!

The room is very nice, with dry and wet separation. It is 900m walk from Ubud Palace. Although the road is not easy to walk, it is very close. It is recommended to rent a motorcycle directly opposite the hotel entrance to explore the Ubud area, which is very convenient. The hotel service is thoughtful and considerate. Breakfast can be enjoyed at any time of the day, so you can enjoy a leisurely and slow life.

One of our most favorite hotel in Bali. We have been visiting it for the last 7 years and love everything about it. Will come back again in a heart beat and special thanks to all the employees for always giving their best 🫶

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Komune. My partner took his surfboard and was very pleased to catch some early morning waves before we left. We only stayed for one night which was a shame as we were unable to make the most of the amenities. We would love to come back to Hotel Komune in the future! The staff were absolutely wonderful and always greeted us with a smile :)

Absolutely phenomenal stay in Ubud. I would highly recommend Komaneka for your stay. I have stayed at various other villas around Bali over the years and this was my best stay. They have a wealth of experience of looking after their customers and make sure you are highly satisfied with every aspect. I came here after cancelling another villa due to a bug infestation in the bedroom during the monsoon season. These guys had it under control with a very clean villa to stay in. Every amenity was provided for and if anything was required they was just a phone call away. Their food and breakfast was outstanding. The best we have had out of many 5* hotels and stays. You will not be disappointed.
